After a few minutes of watching TV, Cameron decided to get off the couch and walk over to bed. She opened the door to see James laying in the bed, still unconscious. "Upgrade really did a number on you didn't he big guy?" Cameron asked him expecting an answer. She didn't know how to feel about him wearing his armor while he was sleeping, considering she was practically wearing nothing at all but her sweatpants and a t-shirt. She thought back to the time he had to carry her home after their first attack on the Hellmouth.

"What would I have done if I woke up not wearing my armor?" She wondered. "I bet I woulda smacked you if I saw you again, right?" She chuckled sadly to herself. She stroked his head a little bit; normally baldness was a major turn off for people when it comes to facial appearances. But in this case, there was nothing off-putting about it for her. He wasn't just another person looking for a relationship for one reason. He was a gentleman through and through, polite, kind, humble, engaging.

"What kind of god put you here for me James?" She asked him. "You'd probably say something like, the same one that put you here for me Cam." She said to him. Again, silence. She didn't know how long it would be until he woke up. She started taking his armor off as she continued talking to herself. His gear was usually in the closet every morning before he went out, his body glove was in the wash, and he wore...hmmm. She thought to herself.

"Was he in his pajamas or his boxers?" She wondered. She took the body glove off her boyfriend and took it to the wash. She took in his form for a moment. She found him attractive in spite of him being made out of metal. His body was relatively smooth in most areas, the only place where the plates showed was on his back when he moved his shoulders. Some areas of his body were blue, such as stripes on his upper arm between his elbow and his shoulder; a design that was consistent with his facial features.

Cameron pulled him over to her and placed his arm around her upper body. "Goodnight James." She said to him expecting an answer again.

"Goodnight Cameron." She heard a voice reply. Her eyes widened and turned around to see his eyes were open and active and a bright smile was on his face.

"JAMES!" She exclaimed hugging him tightly. "OH MY GOD YOU'RE OKAY!" She said practically crying.

"I told you I'd be back Cameron."

"And dang it you were right." She said giving him a kiss. The two stayed there in each other's arms for a while with both their eyes closed. "Have I ever told you how much I love you, James?"

"At least ten to fifteen times since we first met." He replied.

"Oh come on, it has to be more than that!" She exclaimed.

"Okay, let's see....." He said searching through his memory banks. "You're right, fifty-four times."

"Make this fifty-five." She whispered to him.

"The twins, is Molly okay?" James asked her.

"She's fine; the two cried each other to sleep. It was kinda cute, to be honest."

"She did? why?"

"Apparently Upgrade had her in some sort of reality bender, while she was asleep she didn't know that both of them were dead."

"That's awful, well, I'm glad they're both okay now."

"Likewise James."

"So, how'd you like to go see something special?"

"Special? What is it?" Cameron asked him.

"It's a surprise, I've been waiting to give to you for a long time," He replied to her question. Cameron perked up at this, sitting up in the bed.
