CHAPTER 11:  THE BIRTHDAY

I woke up and I realized I had taken a nap. I didn’t bother to change my hair or calm my messy hair down. I forgot that Julie’s friends were coming. I went to the kitchen and ate a sandwich.

I saw Julie in a pretty purple dress and asked, “Why wear that? No use, dude. I mean who wears a dress for no special occasion?”

Julie reddens with anger, “YOU FORGOT? ITS MY BIRTHDAY AND YOU TOOK A MILLION HOUR NAP AND EVERYONE IS COMING NOW!” she raged with her tone rising.

Her mother comes and says, “Let him change he’ll be changed in a minute right?” She looks at me, I look back at her and I get worried. How could I forget, I had the best memory in the world.

I got to my room and searched quickly through my wardrobe. Hmm… Not so good clothes at all. I look at Snowflake and I sigh, Snowflake jumps and pulls out a white shirt and white shorts. I grin at her and say, “Hmm… Smart aren’t you?” I pat her. I forget to change so i go to the kitchen.

Then suddenly the doorbell rings and there comes in Julie’s aunt and uncle. I just stand there not doing anything; Julie gets a present from them. After all Julie’s relative’s were here it was pretty noisy, and I didn’t notice my pajamas were still on. I was wearing white shorts and a blue shirt and I didn’t notice until Julie welcomed Alice, Kate and Lily.

I start flushing red when Alice said to me, “You’re wearing your pajamas?”. I run to my room and change into the white shirt and white shorts snowflake had picked out for me.

I go back to the kitchen and sit there waiting for food.

I ask Andrea Hudson, “When will lunch be served?”

Andrea Hudson shakes her head and says, “Poor Leo,” she says petting my hair, “The party has just started! Just wait two more hours, my boy.”

I almost faint but Julie see’s me with her 5 friends. They all giggle except Alice, she just grinned the most evil smile in the galaxy. I wonder why but I just go out side and ask if Alexander and George want to play a round.

When I walk outside in the garden I see that there playing with another two boys their age. I walk and interrupt them,

“Sup? Want to play a round?” Alex, George and the other two boys just look at me and one boy who looked tough said,

“Hey little man, want to verse me? I am the best soccer player in my school, try and beat me,” He said in an amusing tone. Outside I just grinned and inside I was raging with anger.

“It’s on,” I say firmly but happily.
