Chapter 3

"The hell is up with that guy?" You gave a small, but light gulp. You bit your bottom lip, debating whether or not to confront the hooded person or to observe. You did what your instincts made, after walking slowly to the alleyway way.

You stopped after seeing the jacket on the ground, covered in blood, along with the grey pants of it's. You followed the trail of blood from a body that had been dragged onto to see a the colors red and purple.

"Tsukiyama?" You took a step back when Shuu stood up, wiping blood off suit from the male passenger from earlier, with the a familiar handkerchief. Your eyes slightly widened when you smelled human and ghoul at the same time, giving you the answer to your question.

"Bonjour." Shuu smirked as you, tucking the tissue into his left shirt pocket as he made his way to you fashionably. His hand took yours, holding it with both of his as you stared at him in shock and wonder. "Surprised? You shouldn't be."

He was right, you shouldn't be surprised that he would do something like this but then again, you were overwhelmed that he had done something like this. "Tsukiya-." His finger was pressed against your lips as he smirked down at you, causing you to look up as his calm expression.

You felt his lips press to your ear when your hands were taken and pulled to him. "For anyone who gets in the way of you and me." You blushed, your fingers made your way towards the ends of his hair. You tugged after you felt his hands grip your sides tightly. His lips stopped kissing in your ear, making you feel a light puff of his breath when he smirked. "Shall be dead in the matter of seconds."

You smirked, your heart raced from hearing that, but just for guy could respond in a way for him to notice, the two of you pulled back after hearing a clicking sound. The both of you glanced to see a cop, he looked terrified as if he's never seeing anything non-human before in his life.

He held a gun towards Shuu instead of you, he was shaking, making you give a small smirk to his behavior as Tsukiyama did the same, following a head shake soon after when a deep, frustrated sounding sigh.

"Ugh. Why must you humans ruin a good moment like this?" When Tsukiyama released your hand, you turned your back towards him to run off, but it was a dead end. "Cra-." You turned your head after hearing a gun shot, only to see Shuu fall backwards, making you give parted lips and shaking breaths.

Your eyes went narrowed, the officer gasped and took a step back, but when he made a gesture to run for it, your kagune went through his heart, making him cough blood just before you dragged him into the alley off the sidewalk.

You went back over to Tsukiyama, he gave a grunt before a deep sigh, making you lick the bottom of your lips out of worry when you looked around, afraid other ghouls might catch the two of you.
