I pushed the bed away from the door and clipped the reins to Justin's bridal. As I opened up the bedroom door a pile of black dust piled in. The dust was up to my knees as I struggled to walk through it. It felt like I was walking through two feet of snow, my feet lifting out of the dust and falling into the next step. Digit was jumping through the snow desperate to get through it while Justin just plowed right through. It was like this until we finally reached the front door and then the dust stood about a foot tall. Black dust covered the ground like a thick blanket covering a bed. The sky still had black dust sprinkling down upon me. With every breath I took black dust would fill my lungs causing me to cough violently. I pulled my shirt over my nose and walked. I walked over to the wagon and noticed that one of the wheels for the wagon was completely destroyed. Standing up I walked around the wagon and immediately found what had caused the wooden wheel to break. Skulls and bones rested on the ground where the wind had thrown them. Some of them were smashed some had a tiny crack in it. I sighed and started digging though the dust pulling out the saddle and bridal.

I shook the the saddle pad getting the dust off. After I had laid the pad upon Justin's back I started to saddle him up. Digit was walking around what was left of the yard, I had to tie a thin shirt that I had found in a closet around Digit's nose so he wouldn't choke on the dust floating around. I had to do the same with Justin and let me tell it was not easy. Justin would fling his head one direction and trot another direction. But when I would catch him that was when he would decide to be a giraffe and hold his head high up into the air so I wouldn't be able to reach him. But I finally was able to reach him.

I threaded the leather strap through the loop one last time and made sure the saddle was on tight but not to tight. I put my foot in the stirrup and hoisted my self up. I tapped Justin sides with my heels and we were off. The cans of food were hidden in the house in case anyone else came. I started to direct Justin towards the direction of the cabin to get the saddle bags.

I looked at the scenery before me hills of black dust covered the road we came on, black dust was still raining down from the heavens, black dust was everywhere and covering everything. I felt like I was in a nightmare.

We were about to passed the last house when Digit started barking at the side of the house faced away from us. I nudged Justin closer to the building, every step I took the more anxious I got. Close enough I jumped off Justin and walked to the side of the house.

As I peered around the corner I began to see a dark figure covered in burlap clothing picking up bones and stuffing them into a brown sack. Digit growled at the figure causing him to look right at me. Its eyes were glowing dark red as if it could look right into me. The figure pulled out something sharp from behind his back. My body immindiatly froze when I recognized the sharp object to be a black dagger with glowing green veins running through the sword. I backed up slowly getting ready to turn and run, that was when it suddenly sprinted toward me.

Fear took over me I took my first step to run but I slammed into Justin. My reflexes took over me and I hauled my self back up into the saddle. As if sensing my fear Justin took off with Digit hot on his tail. I galloped down through the town not sure where to go. I kept galloping until I turn the corner and was met with more dark figures.

I yanked the reins desperate to turn around but was immidiatly pulled off him. I fell on the ground with a lot of force. The Creature grabbed my arms roughly making my arms feel like they were about to break. It started to drag me making my body break the dry skull under me. The Creature threw me up against what was left of the metal of a house. Then a man that looked about to be in his forties or fifties his hair was black with grey starting to take over. His eyes showed exhaustion, shock and fear. Took a syringe with a clear lyquid and stabbed it into my arm. All it felt like was a small sting but what go me scared was what I started to feel after it, I couldn't lift my arm up no matter how hard I tried. My body started to feel weaker to where I couldn't even hold myself up. I collapsed full of exhaustion not being able to wake my self up they dragged me an dragged me until... Darkness
