The crashing in the what seemed to be the kitchen made me run there. It was either Brio trying to make something and failing or mom just dropped something on accident, I didn't want to chance it though. I look in and see Brio looking at the handle in his hand and a pot full of Mac-and-cheese on the floor. Fortunately nothing spilled and everything was still ok.

"You ok B?" I ask Brio, he looked a bit shaken but other than that he was fine. I went to get a towel from the oven handle and set the pot handle in Brio's hand down on the counter. I sat Brio down at the dining room table. "How did this even happen B?" I looked over at him and the handle next to him.

He also looked down at the handle. "I don't really know, I was just moving the pot to the sink to grain it but instead it fell... Maybe one of the screws were lose." I nodded and went over and picked up the somehow not spilled mac-and-cheese and put it on the counter.

"Is mom still out?" I asked, she would usually be here by now.

"Yeah, she took Cecil out to his dance class, so they'll be back at around 10-10:30, dad also left for California so we're the only 2 left." He stood up and had looked a lot less shaken. He handed me the cheese for the Mac, probably not trusting himself around the food. After we finished making everything we sat done and ate. "So how's Jay doing? I know the full moon's tonight, Tess was going on about how the moon was messing up her hair growth or something." Tess (or Tessa) is Brio's best friend, and JJ's older sister.

"Yeah, JJ said she has it a bit easier since she doesn't care about her hair. Although Jack is apparently not gonna have a fun time tonight, JJ said it's gonna be the first time changing." I looked down at the few macaronis left in my bowl and smiled. Jack was the youngest out of all of the siblings and he was very cocky when it came to being a Werewolf. Oh the things he'll go through.

Brio nodded and got up to take his and my dishes, I followed him into the kitchen and sat on the counter. "You know band camp is in two weeks right?" I looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.

He sighed, "Yeah, I'm not really ready for the sweltering heat or repetition of basics." He finished washing the dishes and set them up to dry. He put his arms against the sink counter and leaned on it. "Although having you guys will be fun, your guy's class will get us over 100 kids." He looked over at me and smiled.

I smiled back, he always knew how to make me happy. "That's true, I can't wait till we start."
