Chapter four: Grounded......beef?

Dinner~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Alex knocked on the door, "Hello? Theodore?" Theodore was too upset to answer or turn around, so he ignored him. Alex knocked again, "Theodore..." Finally, he decided to grab a chair, climb it, turn the knob, and finally managed to get in the room. "Theodore..." he called again. No response from Theodore still. Then Alex walks to the front of the bed while singing "Blackbird" Tim and Theodore's song. "Take these broken wings---" "Stop it!" The boss baby interrupted upsetly. "What's wrong? Why so mad?" Theodore glances at him angry and upset, looking like he was gonna cry. "First off, That's my song! You have no right singing it!" "Actually, I do, I'm the youngest brother of all three of you, remember?" "Whatever....secondly, you got me grounded! It's been a week already now!" Alex finally looks guilty. "Well, I only came to let you know that it's time for dinner, so, come downstairs whenever your ready..." Theodore looked at him, then he thanked him silently. Alex then went downstairs as Theodore still sat thinking, lost in thought. Finally, he says, "Alright, I'm coming..." and gets out of bed. After arriving at the dinner table, everyone siting looks at him concerned. "Guess what everybody?" "What?" Tim and Dad ask as Alex and Theodore do soft curious baby noises. "As a special for Friday, we're having ground beef!" "Seriously!?" "Yep! Eat up everyone!" She smiles as she hands everyone thier plate. "Alex, Theodore, you two are going to eat it mushy since your still babies..." Mom handed each baby thier sippy cup. Then, Tim's mom asks him to fed Theodore while they fed Alex. "Really?" He asked surpised before looking at a serious Theodore. "Yep kiddo, we're gonna try to switch here and there." Then as Alex cries after being picked up by mom and dad, as he leaves, the Boss Baby smiles like a villain at him as he frowns back at him. "Ok Templeton, you heard Mom and Dad, I'm ready for my sippy cup..." "Is there ever a time where your not bossing anyone around?" "Yes" "Really?" "Your so naive..." then Tim gives him a puffy- cheeked angry face as he picks him up. "Wow, Bosses are mean" "Yeah, we're opposed to be, bosses are Alphas, if we were nice like Goofy, we would be 'Goofy' Omegas, which you know is a bad thing." "Eh, good point..." Tim admited. He then took his sippy cup and, when getting ready to fed him, a wierd sound came from the bathroom. "What?" Everyone stopped, no one getting a chance to feed Theodore nor Alex yet. "Ok, I'll go investigate that..." dad bravely said. "Like a detective?" "Even better....Like Sherlock Homes..." and then his imagination ran free as dad pretended to carefully sneak through the upstairs hallway. Then, he slowly turns the knob while hiding behind the door and after opening a little creak of it, BAM! A river of water comes exploding out of the bathroom and all over the floor. "Alex! I know you did not just clog another lego piece in the toilet!" Dad said. Alex just says, "Uh-oh" in a adorable baby voice. "Again? Alex!" Mom says softly but upset. "Oh well, get the plungers honey, this will take a while." Then Tim's parents went into the supplies closet, grabed plungers, and proceeded to the bathroom. "Tim, this might take a while so, do me a favor and feed Theodore and Alexander for us please?" Tim looked shocked but smiled nervously after remembering how that went last time. "Ok mom..." then Alex comes running to Tim and hugs hum tight. "Phew! Thank goodness that'll buy me some time to spend with you big brother!" Alex smiled joyfully. "You think you've had enough time?" The two look at Theodore who stands up and continues his statement, "Since you've first got here, you've been taking all the attention I should be needing away, so tell me right now why I shouldn't be the one saying that." Then Alex smiles as Tim looks at him shocked. "Boss Baby? Does it.....bother you that, you know....that I've been paying more attention to Alex than you lately?" Tim asked concerned. The Boss Baby's cheeks go red again
As he stares shocked, feeling ackward. "D-Don't be ridiculous, I'm not bothered by it, I'm just not used to it"
"Ohhh" Alex purposely said aloud as he covered up his mouth and sensed what was going on. The Boss Baby quickly looks at him and glares at him. "Not what you think so don't jump ahead buster..." then Alex tries to keep his giggles in as Tim stares confused. "You better not...." then finally, Alex runs around the table with Theodore chasing behind him.
"Theodore!" He teased. "Listen you little brat! I am not---!" "Hey you guys!" They froze in their running position as they both looked surpised at Tim. "Remember that I had to feed you guys?" He smiled playfully. Then the two babies look at each other and race each other for the grounded beef. "It's mine!" Alex said upset. "No, it's mine!" The Boss Baby retorted as he started fighting with Alex by pulling the cup away from each other back and forth. "Whoops!" The Boss Baby said as he let go, causing Alex to go flying across the table. He finally crashed into the plate, made the Ground beef go flying and crash on the floor into a huge mess. "Huh, pun intended" he said as Alex and Tim stared shocked at the mess, "Literally" "Hi kids, is everything---" the parents froze after seeing the ground beef on the floor. Mom gasped in horror as she asked sternly, "Whould someone care to explain who's responsible for this?" "Wah!" Theodore angrily complained in his baby voice as he pointed to Alex, who was sitting on the plate. "Alex! Well this is new," dad said a little disappointed. "Ok Alex, I can't really ground you" she stated, "but i still have to punish you, maybe, no cookies before bed today!" Alex stared shocked as Theodore tried to hold in his baby laughter while smirking. "Sorry Alexander, only until tomorrow though, and Theodore," Theodore looks at them surprised, "your ungrounded..." Theodore runs up to them and hugs them, as a way of saying 'thank you'. "Ok kids, I'll whip us up something else tonight..." Then Tim and Theodore laugh together at what just happened as Alex joined the laughter, caring less about the beef incident.

Bedtime~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Knocking is heard at the door as Alex and Tim wake up. "Come in" says Tim. Theodore walks embarrassed through the door and as he stands in front of Tim. "Yes Boss Baby?" "Um....this is kind of....hard to explain...." "Don't worry, you can tell me anything..." Tim comfurted. "Well, I just had a small nightmare is all, and i was wondering if I can sleep with you for the night..." "A nightmare? Did you really have a nightmare?" Alex questioned. The Boss Baby looks at him irritated and says, "If I didn't have one, I wouldn't be in here asking to sleep with Tim..." then he looks back embarrassed at Tim. "So, uh, can I? The nightmare surprisingly shocked me" "Was it a nightmare of your jealousy?" Alex teased. "Of what?" Tim asked. Now the Boss Baby's face was lid up as he answered, "No! Anyways, I need to sleep here," "Well, ok, fine by me" Tim smiled as the Boss Baby crawled into bed and covered himself with the blanket. "Goodnight Alex" "Goodnight big bother Timmy!" "Ohh brother..." and Tim looks at the Boss Baby, "Goodnight boss" the boss smiles back. "Goodnight Tim". When Tim falls asleep, Theodore and Alex look at each other. "Just admit Theodore..." "I'm not what you think, I'm just doing all this to win the baby war...." "Ha! I'll like to see if that continues even after the war...." "Good luck trying..." then the two fall asleep as they dream about secret plans for the war.
