Hey guys, before I start, I'm just saying that I'm not naming anymore chapters in this story because... Yeah. Just because.
Anyway, enjoy this short chapter :)

Will's POV

Lily nudged me. 'Go on, tell him!'

'Why can't you? I have to go and check on KT, make sure she's-'

'It's fine Will, she stopped thinking you're her "daddy".' She interrupted. 'Stop making excuses.'

'But mum said I have to give him some space.' I argued.

'Your mum wants you to tell him Will, honestly!' She rolled her eyes and pushed me into the living room. Dad was still sitting there, his face completely blank. I walked over and sat next to him.
'Are you okay dad?' I asked quietly. He just shrugged.

'Mum's arranged for us to go out to dinner tonight at that Italian place.' I told him.

'Oh right, well have fun.' He said flatly.

I stared. 'You're coming too, right?'

'I don't really feel like it.' He sighed.

'What? Oh c'mon dad. You haven't eaten all day, you'll bound to be hungry later. And it won't be the same without you. Even Eve is coming.', I pleaded.

'No, really, I'll be fine here. You go without me.'

'Dad I don't care, you're coming.' I said stubbornly. 'I don't care how bad you're feeling right now, you'll cheer up at dinner. Mum wants you to come, Eve wants you there too. Even Lily and Abe are coming too. You're coming whether you like it or not.' With that, I stormed out.

Lily caught up with me in the kitchen. 'You could have been more gentle about it!' She hissed.

'Lils, gentle wouldn't have made much impression on him at all. I had to be firm with him in order to get through to him. We can't leave him to sink in his own misery all the time, he'll get depressed and I'm not gonna let that happen!'

'You're right Will.' She said, surprising me. 'That does make sense. Besides, he'll cheer up at dinner. You've got the whole family coming.'

Unfortunately dad's mood didn't improve. Throughout dinner, he was miserable. The only time he perked up was when we saw Gwenlan.
'What the hell is he doing here?' Dad growled under his breath.

'Erm dad, this is a restaurant, he's free to come in here.' I said.

'If I had my way, he'd be locked up. It's his fault that Katherine's gone.' He snapped.

Mum took his hand. 'Calm down Nick. He's not doing anything to us, so just ignore him.'
He just shrugged and returned to his unresponsive state.
Lily saw my worried face. 'It's okay Will. He's grieving. Give him time. I doubt he'd be all smiley and cheery after today.'
