(( QUICK THING: I love the picture above. Jeffmads is literally the cutest thing ever, hiNT WHY I MADE THIS- ))

James and Thomas sat at a two person table, which was seated by a fairly large window.

They had already ordered their drinks, and had just sat down to wait a moment. Thomas had gotten the Double Chocolaty Chip Creme Frappuccino, and James had gotten the Flat White.

"So you're a chocolate fan?" James asked after seeing what he ordered. Thomas chuckled and nodded.

"Yup. Chocolate makes anything and everything better." James returned the smile.

"Eh, its alright. I like more...milky stuff. Not as strong or flavored. Like the Flat White...it's like coffee-tasting warm milk." He shrugged.

Soon a girl walked up to them, holding their two drinks, one in each hand. She had dark-ish skin and brown, curly hair that went to the middle of her back. She had the Starbucks apron with a pastel yellow shirt underneath it.

James noticed that she seemed familiar...He knew that people attending Yorktown could get on-campus jobs, so she was most likely a student as well.

He looked at her name tag, which read 'Peggy Schuyler'.

Peggy sat their drinks down in front of them, also noticing James, but not saying anything. James cleared his throat.

"Do I know you from somewhere? You seem really familiar..." Peggy chirped after a moment. Thomas cocked an eyebrow at him, and he gave a lanky smile.

"I do. I also noticed that you seemed familiar as well." James said, making her break out into a wide grin.

"Well maybe I'll see you around! My boss wouldn't want me slacking off. I'm Peggy, by the way! But you probably already knew that from my tag." She giggled.

"I'm James." He said. "Thomas." Thomas replied quickly, raising a hand in a friendly gesture.

Peggy walked back off, and disappeared behind the counter.

"Yeah...I saw her somewhere yesterday. We just had a brief conversation," James explained briefly when he saw Thomas' questioning expression.

"Ok, cool." Thomas said, sipping his coffee. He burnt his tongue quickly, pulling back and almost dropping the drink.

"hOLY-" He screeched, opening his mouth and half sticking out his tongue. Yeah. It was burnt.

James giggled sheepishly, trying to stop. It wasn't that funny...well, maybe it was.

Thomas fanned his tongue, James still trying to stifle his laughter. Thomas finally gave up, trying to ignore the tingling in his mouth.

"I'm sorry," James giggled a tiny bit in between, "for laughing. I shouldn't find this funny."

Thomas playfully narrowed his eyes. "Hm." He hummed, looking into his eyes.

James looked to his drink and cupped both hands around it and sipped it cutely. Thomas smirked at his action.

"So tell me about yourself, Jamie~" Thomas purred and slowly took a drink, making sure that he was cautious enough not to burn himself a second time.

James looked at him oddly at the nickname, but didn't say anything about it. He tried to think of some things that might be interesting about himself.

"Well I grew up here in Virginia about an hour from Yorktown. It's a fairly large community called Orange County." He smiled nostalgically. "I actually have eleven other brothers and sisters."

Thomas' eyes widened, not because he thought it was crazy, but because he had found someone who had a big family like him.

"I have ten siblings!! Finally, someone who shares my suffering!" He laughed, and James joined in.

"Yeah, I only got along with a few of them. Most are little devils." James smirked, looking down at his cup.

"I only get along with my little sister, Anne. She's a sweetheart," He grinned. He hadn't seen her since he moved back from France, he did FaceTime his mother though.

"Hah, well that's nice." James nodded. Thomas nodded, sipping his drink.

James spilled a little on the table when he went to put it down. "Oh, shoot, let me go get some napkins." James said, getting out of his chair.

When he got out his elbow hit the cup, causing it to spill all over the table...

And Thomas.

"Thomas!!! Oh gosh, I'm so sorry!" She said frantically. Thomas tried to get the burning liquid off him with his hands, and somewhat succeeded.

James ran and got some napkins, quickly trying to rub it off of his shirt. Thomas laughed.

Seeing that it might be easier, James handed Thomas the napkins. He took them and started to wipe away at his shirt.

"I'm so sorry..." James sighed again, face palming.

"Don't worry about it, accidents happen." He chuckled. He got up to throw away the damp napkins. "It's not a big deal, don't cry over spilt milk~" He grinned at his little joke.

James gave another lanky smile, still feeling bad, but a little better about the conflict.

"Well I think I need to go back and change...I was pretty much done with my coffee anyways." He laughed, and James agreed.

"Do you have any classes this afternoon?" Thomas asked, shifting his focus from his phone to James, who was sitting next to him on the couch.

They had gone back, Thomas had changed, and it had been about half an hour since they'd been back.

"No. Not until tomorrow around lunch." He said, and Thomas nodded.

"Hey wait, James, what's your phone number?" Thomas asked out of the blue.

James was a little surprised, but looked over at him. "Oh, ok." He said. He took Thomas and out in his phone number, and Thomas giving him his.

Thomas set his profile name as "James", but then changed it to "Jamie". He smirked to himself and put his phone down.

James put Thomas' profile name to "Thomas".

Thomas glanced at James. He opened his phone again and began texting James.

Thomas: Hey Jamie~

James looked at Thomas, his eyebrows raised. "Jamie?" He asked. Thomas nodded.

Jamie: Hello, Thomas.

Thomas smiled to himself at his grammar and formality.

Thomas: Formal, huh? "Hello, Thomas."

Jamie: What else would I say...? It was just a greeting.

Thomas: I dunno, maybe "hOWDY, TOM!"

Jamie: I don't think so.

They both laughed.

"Howdy, Tom." Jamie said, putting his phone face down on the couch. Thomas erupted in laughter, putting a hand on his head.

They were definitely going to get along.
