History: Duke served for five years as a police dog until he was forced to retire due to injury. During his career he received multiple medals for bravery. He is now the pet of Deputy Bishop. However instead of retiring to a life of rawhide bones and daily walks, Duke has organized three other dogs into the Dog Patrol. The Dog Patrol functions as an animal law enforcement agency for the neighborhood, making sure that the community's animals are safe from crime and chaos. Duke knows that he can handle most problems that come up but when things get complicated he unfortunately needs Yoshi and Gatsby. While Duke can force himself to tolerate Gatsby's recklessness and jokes, he finds it difficult to deal with Yoshi's condescending attitude.
