I called the police so that they could come and sniff out who, or what, was in the house; yes, I am clever - if I do say so myself. They asked me to leave the house and stay with the neighbors while they did some research.
I wasn't particularly very fond of my neighbors. Why? Well for starters, they seriously creeped me out. My neighbor was as weird as you could get. She was called Mrs Andreas. Even though everyone called her a 'Mrs' I wasn't too sure if she actually had a husband - considering the fact that she always braged on about how independent she was and that you should be like her.
Mrs Andreas always wore a thin, brown cotton shawl around her wide shoulders. Her specs were always squeezed right onto the top of her nose which made her look like a professor - not to my liking at all. She also had a punky purple maxi dress which would skid on the floor as she would waddle along to her local knitting club. All of this sounds pretty neat, right? Well, to top this all off, she had hazel colored hair which would always be all over her face!.... (to me it looked like a nest).
I was always warmly welcomed to her home even though I really didn't think I deserved it since I was so rude to her all the time. I regret all that now. She offered me my favorite chocolate biscuit and some tea which I gladly accepted. Once I was done, Mrs Andreas walked off towards the kitchen. I thought this was my chance to explore a bit so I started to climb up the stairs.
"Sweetheart where are you going? " she asked in a strange curious way. I shot a quick look at her."I just wanted to go to the bathroom." I never mentioned this, but I am a pretty good liar.
"Alright then Sweetums, first door to the left.", she sounded extremely sweet - not that she never was but today she was acting really weirdly. I walked up the long, narrow staircase, wondering if I should actually go to the toilet. I took a quick peek behind me. She was staring at me. STARING! To make it even weirder, she wasn't even giving me her nice granny look. Something was up. I gave her an awkward smile and dashed up the steps. What the hell just happened? That's the definition of creepy old lady for you.I looked left, I looked right. Wow. This place is really nice. There was a medium sized silver chandelier in the middle of hallway, it's diamonds were glistening brightly which almost made it look like it kaleidoscope. There were 10 doors lined up evenly in a row, all made of dark wood. I just realized that there were 5 more doors on the side where I was standing, all of them were also made of the same dark wood. Why would one old lady need to live in a place like this by herself? I glanced to the left and found a weird pink colored door with a golden frame. So much for nice looking. Did I mention that I'm more like a weird tomboy? I like dolls but that's pretty much it. I walked into the massive room. Surely I must be in the wrong room? This place was triple the size of my old bedroom.
Anyway, I did my thing( not that I needed to) and strolled over to the sink. I was casually washing my hands when I saw a number carved into the wall. P31p. What?! Why would someone carve p31p into their bathroom wall? This lady is weird as. Maybe she ran out of paper to write down the price of some vegetable junk or something, I thought. I walked out of the toilet and saw that one of the doors of the room in front of me was open. I was too curious to walk back downstairs. I tiptoed to the room and pressed my ear against it to make sure that the old hag wasn't in there. "Hissssss..... " My heart started to pound in my chest, I knew that it was the same sound from the incident that occurred in my old house. I needed to know what was making that sound. I tiptoed back to the bathroom and grabbed the plunger that was sitting in the corner of the room. As I was walking back to the bedroom, I suddenly felt the temperature drop to what it felt like was - 50 degrees. I shook off my basket of fear and cautiously strolled over to the other side of the hallway.
"You will find clues in the corners of rooms, you will find clues in the tops of buildings, but I can assure you that life will be far from what you have at the end of this journey, as your history will be the meaning to your doom. Circles and squares... Circles and squares.... ". I stood there. Frozen. I snapped out of my trance and still decided to go inside. I whacked the door and the same translucent sheet of silk drifted out. It was just hovering in the air. This time I got a better look at it's features. Where the eyes were meant to be were pitch black sockets with two bloody knives, pierced into them. The mouth was pitch black too, it had no tongue. A long trail of smoke came out of the creature's mouth - the body of a snake. It curled up and looked at me up and down. Chills were sent down my back and the hairs on my arms raised up. I felt like lightning had struck me.
Without any warning, the serpent shot it's head toward me.
Everything was silent. That was the last thing I remembered.
