"Just one little house party, please Tiff!" Becky begged me.
I’d been saying no to her for weeks. The last one she had in our flat caused a lot of physical and emotional damage:
12 difference stains on the carpet
8 broken glasses
6 broken mugs
3 spilt bottles of vodka
2 lads got arrested for fist-fighting about what pizza they should have
And 1 broken bed. Yes it was my bed. I was not happy.
"Bec I’ve just got things sorted from the last one"
"PLEASE!!!!" she begged with me
"Fine!"
"Yes!" she smiled and grabbed her phone off the breakfast table, "Heather. House party tonight. Mine and Tiffs" she said down the phone.
I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my purse to go shopping for drinks.
"Remember, it’s a small 2 bed flat. Don’t invite the whole world" I said as we unpacked the drinks
"Its only Heather, Louise, Carrie, Dec, Gary, Shaun, Laura, Jim, Nat, Lewis, Jamie, Zak, Yasmin, Carla, Kirsty, Dave, Ste, Alex, Cam, Kim, Lisa, Lauren, Jake, Jonah, Tasha, Billie and Stuart."
"Oh is that it(?)" I said sarcastically, "Help me move the sofa" I sighed as we bent down to lift it.
