Lately I've been thinking, thinking about what we had.. I know it was hard, it was all that we knew... Yeah..

It was another day today. You were at school in the lunchroom, talking with a few of your friends. You weren't very popular in school. You like to ignore that fact though, you wanted to believe that all of that stuff didn't matter. Who cares anyway..? But you thought it was because of your personality and your bad habits. You don't exercise very much and you also have a poor diet. You tend to starve yourself sometimes.. And you are also very depressed. Whenever you feel depressed, you usually smoke a cigarette or drink. Sometimes even both at the same time.. All just to try and make the pain go away... No one really knows why you're so upset, it's all kind of a mystery. You didn't have many people to tell, and you thought that would just cause more trouble and bring them down.. You didn't have a mother or father, and your older brother was sent to be in the military. You were alone... The only person who knows all of this is your boyfriend, Law..

Have you been drinking to take all the pain away? I wish that I could give you what you deserve...

Law was concerned about all of this, and he told you constantly that doing all of that stuff is bad for your health. You tried to turn around and quit doing it but you're too far in the wrong direction. You were addicted... You already have problems with your health anyway. You've been to the doctor multiple times because you have a bad heart.. It turns out that you have coronary artery disease... You've tried other medical and surgical treatments to try and hopefully stop it but sadly none of them have worked. So the only thing you can do to save your life is have a heart transplant. As soon as the doctors can get you a donor heart though.. You snapped back to reality once you saw a certain man come towards you and take a seat next to you. It was Law.. "O-oh. Hey Law.." You said shyly, giving him a small smile. He returned the smile and wrapped his arm around you. "Hello (y/n). How are you today..?" He asked, locking his warm, grey eyes with yours. You blushed a little and sighed softly. "I'm alright, nothing much has happened today.. A-and you?" You stuttered a little, feeling warm with his arm around your waist. "Nothing has really happened to me either. But I'm glad that you're feeling okay today. It makes me happy to see you happy.." Law said calmly as his cheeks reddened slightly. You giggled a little, noticing this.

'Cause nothing can ever, ever replace you.. Nothing can make me feel like you do... Yeah..

You and Law were an enchanting couple. The both of you really cared for each other. The two of you have been dating for about 2 or 3 years. In fact, you guys were so happy together that every now and then you would talk to him about getting married someday. He seemed to like the idea, mostly because he wanted to protect you and be with you no matter what.. It seems almost impossible for you two to ever split. But.. the world is a cruel and messed-up place...

You know there's no one I can relate to.. I know we won't find a love that's so true...

"So we should go to class now, right? Lunch just ended." Law pointed out, breaking the ice. You widened your eyes in surprise a little, realizing that he was right. "O-oh! Right! Let's go..!" You said, about to walk away. But then Law grabbed your hand, peventing you from leaving him. "Wait (y/n).. Will you please meet me after school? I have something very important I must give you..." Law said seriously, looking in your eyes. You hesitated for a moment, thinking about the words that just poured out of his mouth. You just smiled and kissed cheek softly, giving him a nod. "Of course Law. Hehe, now I really have to go. I love you.." You said, giving him a hug. He smiled a little and hugged you back. "I love you too (y/n).. Now go before you're late." He said with a chuckle. You blushed and waved at him before leaving. But then you thought.. what is he going to give you after school..?
