014: The Escape

Uien's Pov

After the incident yesterday after I left the hospital with Francis, they where more efficient of every move I make. They lock the doors, windows, and gates. They also chained me as if I was a dog in a cage, the brothers always takes turns on keeping an eye on me. I was only able to get out with all the brothers around, and inside the mansion. They lock me inside my room, sometimes as if I did something wrong to them. They lock me up at the dark room.

After a week, Natsume said that they prepared a party tomorrow and their expecting my father's agent is along with it too. I couldn't get myself get out of the situation. No one can hear my voice, no one sees me, a tough choice for me if I'm going to be one of the Mitsuo's future bride or i'll be killed. But since Nao has this side of him being nice and all. He gave me time after the party to choose one of them,

"Lady Uien," It was Francis at the door. The other Brothers are busy preparing for the party tomorrow so me and Francis is left at the mansion. "Lady Uien, are you awake?" I couldn't say a word, but as he came approach. He place a tray with breakfast on it. "Here, since you can't come out of your room. I brought you these, it's freshly made."

"Francis..." I suddenly noticed that he was carrying a box. "What's in the box?"

"I'll show it to you after you eat," I just did as he said. While I was eating, he opened all the curtains and the lights. "It's very gloomy inside here, a lady shouldn't be sleeping like a pig in a pen."

"What's the point, complete lock down. More like a prisoner than a pig." I said then wiping my mouth with my sleeves.

"Tsk, tsk tsk. Lady Uien, your attending a party and you should be acting like one of the ladies out their. Even if as a prisoner here, I couldn't just let you be locked so much." He took out a key and unlocked the chained. I can finally move freely, but as I sat on my bed. He also sat beside me.

"What am I going to do? I want to be more free, not just be free by unlocking those chains." I exclaimed as he chuckled lightly, "And I have like the rest of the day before the party, I have to choose one of them. I don't want to die because of them!"

"Ahaha, Lady Uien. Look, let me ask you a question." I looked at him as I sat back at my bed. "Do you pick someone in the family yet?" I shake my head saying no, "Then, your lucky. They won't kill you even if you can't give an answer, because your father won't give in their treasury."

"But, I just wanted everything go back where it was. When they didn't adopt me, when I was still an orphan, when I still don't know who my family is." As when a thought came in to me, "I wonder if Makoto is still waiting for me."

"And who could that be?" He asked, I pulled out my wallet and showed him the picture of me and Makoto.

"When I was in the orphanage, she was like my little sister to me. She always make me cheer up, she's also annoying, but I'm really thankful that she's so kind, loving, and energetic. She's full of surprises, so she never gets tired on cheering up everyone." I said, I sighed while I folded my legs up hugging it. I look at the picture again and I felt tears flowing down from my cheeks. "*sniff* Ahaaha, sorry. I think I got a little dramatic."

"I understand, maybe I can make that exception." He said then standing up. He opened my closet and throw some of my clothes. "I wouldn't mind on meeting this little one, but if looking like that. It's just not formal for a guest to dress in rags."

"Wait? Your going to--"

"Yes Lady Uien, for now. I'll let you meet up with the girl. Even if it's forbidden by the Mitsuo's given word, that won't stop me from serving you." He said then walks approach the room. "I'll meet you there at the entrance,"
