Brightleaf met Foxleap at their tree. It was raining hard, so she didn't know why he chose today to sit in the tree. "hey." he said making Brightleaf jump. Foxleap bounded down the tree greeting her with a troubled smile. "Uhh... Brightleaf. we need to talk." he said, he got in the tree as Brightleaf followed. "I saw yours and Wolfclaw's fight. you started to cry because you still love him." Her fur was soaked as well as her heart. "what are you saying?" she said but she already knew. "we can't be together. I'm sorry, but you still have feelings for Wolfclaw." He said solemnly and he bounded away. "Foxleap, please!" she wailed. "I love you not Wolfclaw!" but he was gone. tears streamed down her face. "no. no." she whispered.please come back, Foxleap. she silently willed him.
She woke up in the warriors den but no one was there. she walked outside but no one was in the clearing either. the sky turned black with only the light of stars. more stars than you can count. brighter than any thing. a starry orange cat padded up to her. "I'm in Starclan!" she said in disbelief. "yes. I'm Firestar, your grandfather." the cat said. "I heard your the hero of the Great Battle!" she mewed excitedly. "there was many heroes." firestar said. "but you are here for a different reason. I am giving you a prophesy. One, with a soul so bright, will defeat all darkness. they will travel far to achieve. They will make the darkness shy away from the warm light. they will save the clans from the darkest threat. they will not win every battle, but win every battle that truly matters ."
