Chapter 14

Madi's P.O.V

It's been a few weeks since Connor broke up with me and it hasn't been easy. I mean I've pretty much locked myself into my room. I have cried countless of times, I just feel empty and find it pointless to do anything anymore. I have gotten barley any sleep mainly because I've been crying so much but also because my night terrors have come back. Only one person ever knew I had night terrors and that was Shawn and up until now I haven't had them. But now they're back and everyone knows about them.

"Madi please let me in..." I was tore out of my thoughts by Nates voice I sighed and got up knowing he wouldn't go away until I let him in.

"I... Um brought some food cause I've notice you hardly eat anymore and I'm worried" he said with a sad face. I stayed quite just staring at the food debating on whether to eat it or not.

"You don't half to eat it, I mean you should because you look a lot skinner then you should but I'm not going to force you." He said

"Thanks Nate" I finally spoke and Nate smiled

"I'm always here, we all are worried about you..." he said softly

"I am very aware everyone's worried about me, but I don't know I just feel so lost and empty and like I can't stop crying and I just I don't want to hurt anymore Nate." I said trying to not cry again.

"I know it hurts now Madi, but I know it will get better." He smiled

"How Nate? How can you possibly know that it's going to get better?" I questioned

"Because Madi, I know you are such a strong person, I have faith in you that you will be ok." he said as he hugged me and I hugged him back.

"Now were having movie night and I really think you should come down" he said with a puppy eye look which made me roll my eyes but I grabbed my plate of food and followed him which I could tell he was happy I did. As soon as I walked down everyone looked at me and everyone came running towards me and I jumped and hid behind Nate

"Guys don't crowd her" Nate said smiling towards me

"Sorry Madi were just all happy to see you" Chassy spoke up

"Well I'm here and fine" I said trying to smile but I could tell they didn't believe me but they didn't push anymore about it.

"OH! Come on I have surprise for you actually." Tris said as he grabbed my hand and I handed Nate the plate (aha it rhymes... sorry continue on lol) as Tris was taking me out to the backyard.

"SHAWN!" I screamed and ran over and hugged him.

"Hey! How's my favorite girl" He smiled

"Good sort of" I smiled

"I know your feeling down lately so I got Shawn to come and see you, oh and there's more to the surprise" Tris smiled

"Wait tell me!" I like jumped up and down like a little kid

"Well you need a break from here so you are going to go back and live with Shawn for a few weeks" Tris smiled

"Wait... for real? " I asked praying it wasn't some sick joke but Tris only smiled and Nodded

"Yeah I heard you were upset over a break up and I figured you missed Canada as well so I told Tris you could come stay with me before I go out on Tour" Shawn smiled

"oh my god yay! Im so excited, Ive missed Canada and everyone." I smiled

"Well we leave tomorrow morning so you probably might want to start packing" Shawn laughed
