Jake's Pov
Jack is getting adopted it's kinda sad we've been together since the beginning I don't think I can handle this right now. Then I hear sobbing coming from the girls side. There's a rule about going over there but oh well she's crying so. I run over to Maddie and ask what's wrong and then remember it's April 16 2017 it's a year since her parents and sister were killed. She jumps into my arms and I hug and hold her as she sobs.
Maddie's Pov
Jake came in and judging by the way he looked at me he knew. It's been one year since my parents and sister passed and I still cry about it yeah that may sound weak but it's not imagine losing almost everything you love. I've been crying for about 15 mins and after awhile of being in Jake's arms I ask will you stay with me. His reply was always. He's been my rock to cling to and my best friend he gives me great advice and I love him as a friend and have some feelings for him possibly.
