Things Only Equines Understand

Shedding season. Gotta love it.
One one hand, it is awfully annoying and messy, both for you and your horse. Not only is everything everywhere, but if you not carefully, you will takes a big face full of all the fur your horse is shedding off. And then you'll be the one scratching all day. (I once got it all over my hair when I let my friend brushes while I picked hoofs. It was awful- felt like a pack of live)

But, on the other hand, you gotta love it. For some reason there is something so calming and satisfying about watching the fur come off of the horse from under the shedding blade. It is, strangely enough, fun even. Don't asks why. I don't think anyone even knows. It just is. No matter how weird we sounds when we say this.
But then again, I guess we're a pretty weird world, Equestrians.
