Lies and the Truth(Part 1)

Miko's Past

Miko's POV
I really regret for helping Sanya to ruin the relationship of Subaru and Yume. I went outside for awhile in my sports suit and take a run for awhile. After two laps, I started to feel lazy, I kept thinking about helping Sanya. I sat down on a nearby bench and took rest for awhile. "I must tell Yume-chan, I mean, Yume-senpai. This is all my fault anyway, if I have never been such a scaredy cat, this wouldn't happen." I said to myself with tears. "Miko-chan." I saw Neko walking towards me. "Neko!!" I hugged her while crying. "Daijobou. I know you don't want to help Sanya-san from the beginning of breaking Subaru and Yume's relationship." Neko comforted me. "How did you know?" I asked while my voice is shaking. "I am your best friend. How could I possibly know? Don't worry, I will be there when you are going to tell the truth to Yume-senpai." she said as she rubbed my back. I smiled, "Arigato! But I can handle it. If she gets angry at me, it is fine. I deserve it anyway." I said and then go back to training. "Gambatte Miko-chan!!" she said to me. I felt good, thanks to Neko. I closed my eyes while jogging, imagining what will happen if I tell Yume-senpai.
(Imagination)
"Gomenasai, Yume. I should've lied to you." I said looking down. "Why do you even have to do it??!!" she asked angrily. "Anyway, it is okay, atleast you told the truth." she said calming herself down.
(End of Imagination)
I smiled, my eyes were still close when all of a sudden, I bumped into someone, I fell in the ground.. "Men you should have looking in your way." a familiar voice spoke. I saw it was Yū. I stood up and help him up. "Duckling!" he said to me. "Hey, who were you calling a duckling??!!" I asked angrily. "You, ever since you sneezed when we're on our way to Subaru-kun, and feather landed on your nose making you sneeze, you sound like a duckling quacking." he said while laughing.
(Flashback)
As Yū dragged towards the M4 house, I suddenly slipped on something making me fell on my back, making Yū being pulled down by me and he fell on his back. "What now?" he said. "I slipped on something." I said. He then look at me. A feather landed down on my nose making me sneeze. "Achoo!" I sneezed. He then laughed. I removed the feather in my nose,and then asked Yū, "What are you laughing at?". "When you sneeze, you sound like a duckling quacking." he said while laughing. "Starting from this day on, I am calling you 'Duckling'." he said while laughing.
(End of Flashback)
"So what?? It tickled my nose!!" I replied. "Anyways, I gonna tell the truth to Yume-senpai from what I have done." I said. "I was also planning to do that too. Besides, it is our fault, hence we helped Sanya ruined their relationship. Instead of making Yume-chan happy, I only made it worse." he said while looking down. "Let's tell her together." I said. "I don't know. I'm scared." he said. "Daijobou. We'll be there for each other whatever happens. What do you say? Friends?" I said and reached out one hand. He then blushed, a little bit. As his eyes widened, he shakes my hand. "Friends." he said with a smile. "Anyways, I wanted to know about what Sanya is saying, your family secrets?" he asked. My eyes widened. "You don't want to know about it." I said looking down. "Why not? You can trust me, I won't tell anybody." he said raising his right hand up. I smiled. We sat down in a nearby bench.

"Okay. See look, my father is not an ordinary person, I mean he is normal but...........he is actually, a criminal." I said looking down. "What do you mean?" Yū asked in confusion. "My father is a cop, he met my mom, and they got married. As soon as I got borned, after 6 years, I got this disease." I explained. "What disease?" he asked. "Tumor. I fell from a high tree that time, of course it hurt causing me to have a Brain Tumor. The doctor said, that I could die during operation since I am still a kid, luckily, that doctor has a friend American Doctor who is very proffesional when it comes to these situations, so we decided that the American Doctor will do the operation. But the operation will cost a million dollars, but since Japanese Money is in yen, which means, a million dollars cost, 108, 338, 000 yen. My father, worked hard, as a cop, the salary is high. But the money is not enough for my operation. I was 7 years old that time. The salary of a cop is only 10,000 yen, which ten thousand yen costs in dollars is only 92 dollars. Every one month, my father received his salary. But that time, the salary of cops got delayed. And they didn't know when will it end? They said it may took 3-4 months of the delayed salary. And I am going to need my operation before 2 months. My father borrowed some money but it wasn't enough. So my father asked help this old highschool friends. Turns out, it just made it worse." I said with tears in my eyes. "What do you mean?" Yū asked. "He joined his friends. He started to do vices. Worst of all, he became a killer. His friends told him that the money he will earn is very high. Of course, I have done my operation and my father paid it already. But I was still in the hospital, and we need to pay the hospital bill. So he continued what he is doing and got me out on the hospital. But that time, he got arrested. Then again, my little brother, has dengue, my brother is 6 yrs old that time, and I am eight. We brought him to the hospital. He stayed there for about 2 weeks. And we need to pay the hospital bill which is so high, we can't afford it. One of my dad's friends convince my mom to join them, luckily my mom refuse. So my mom borrowed some money, we got our little brother cured and out of the hospital." I explained still crying. "Yet, that night, we were sleeping, someone got in to our house, not one but 5 guys. Luckily my mom awoke. She told me and my brother to run and save ourselves, but we refuse to, we hid under our bed while our mom goes downstairs We then heard a bang sound, not one bang, but two bangs and we can hear the five guys left the house.We go downstairs and saw our mom lying down. Not breathing yet bleeding blood. Of course we got scared. We burst into tears. Luckily our neighbors came to see what is happening, they were shocked. Me and my brother cried and cried. Since there were CCTVs in our house, we decided to check on the CCTV monitors that were upstairs, as we looked at video, the five guys killed my mom with a gun, and the five guys looked like dad's friends, which they are dad's friends. The Japanese Army get into action and arrested them. One of our neighbors, who are Otome Mitsuki(female) and Otome Satsuki(male), which they were married  adopted me and my brother since we are already orphans. Ever since that day, Our surnames changed into Otome. From Komori Miko to Otome Miko, from Komori Makabe(name of her little brother) to Otome Makabe. But everyday, I won't forget from what happened to me and my old family." I said my voice were shaking. "Daijobou. I know how you feel." Yū said rubbing my back. I burst into tears, as I wiped them away, they continued falling. "I just don't know what to do when I think about this." I cried. Yū hugged me gently. "Everyone has a bad past." Yū said. "Arigato, but we need to go and find Yume-senpai and tell her what have we done." I said panting since I cried and cried. "That gets me going. C'mon." he said. After that we looked for Yume.

Okay this chapter may not have SubaYume. I am really sorry. I just decided to put about Miko's past. I am so sorry,no hard feelings? Okay.
