"Hey (First name)-chan, that was quick." Oikawa laughed and pat the seat next to him.
Quick? That was like twenty minutes or so.
I shook my head lightly, I didn't want to stay any longer. I wanted to leave.
"Hey. (First name)-chan? Are you okay?" Oikawa stood up and pulled me closer to him, bringing my face up so he can see me.
"Why do you look scared? Did something happen?" Oikawa scanned my faced, he knew something was wrong, but he didn't know what happened.
"Let's go." I tugged on his sleeve and started walking.
"W-Wha-?" Oikawa was getting confused but still followed me out of the woods.
Once safely outside, I pulled Oikawa and hugged him. I wasn't really needy, and selfish, but I just wanted to feel safe and being in his arms is the safest place to go to.
His arms wrapped around me and rocked me slowly side to side as if I was a baby, fragile and needed to be cared for.
"Tell me what happened." He softly said as he let me sit down on the nearest bench.
"I-I..."
"It's okay if you wont talk about it now." He smiles which relieved me. I nodded and heaved out a sigh, leaning against his shoulder.
"It was hard to say... But... I just want to collect my thoughts first."

"Someone in the forest you say?"
"Yes, a human... It sounded like a girl."
"That's interesting, don't you think so Naoko?" The fox spirit, Kitsu, jumped down from the tree and sat besides the cat, Naoko, who now turned herself into a shape of a grandmother wearing a kimono, her gray hair tied neatly in a bun.
"Quite. Nobody usually comes wandering in here. They're usually scared." Naoko waved her hand around. Naoko snapped her fingers summoning three cups with green cha inside, a small pink petal right at the center, floating above the tea. Naoko handed a cup to Hajime, which he politely accepted and took a sip.
"Naoko, I can't drink from a cup if I'm in my fox form." Kitsu inwardly rolled his eyes and summoned for a pet bowl. Naoko poured the tea on the bowl for Kitsu to drink.
"Naoko-san, she was scared. She probably saw me." His brows furrowed, voice etched with concern. "And she sounded familliar too... Her voice... I feel like I've heard of her somewhere." He muttered, his eyes looking down to the ground. He had not realized he was holding the tea cup too hard when it cracked beneath his hands. The tea spilled all over and sank down to the soil.
"I-I'm sorry, I'll get a new cup—"
Naoko cut him off by raising her hand to silence him and gave him a warm smile, "It's fine Hajime, no harm done." Hajime returned Naoko's smile with a shy one as he looked down once again in embarrassment.
He always considered Naoko to be his grandmother, she was always taking care of him ever since he was found at the huge tree at the center of the forest where new spirits were often found wandering around. He was in his first year of high school.
Such a pity... At a very young age. Naoko thought to herself, finding the boy who was clutching on the trunk of the tree like his whole life depended on it. The sight made Naoko teary eyed remembering the scene from before.
"Do you think she'll return tomorrow?" Hajime asks, looking up to where Naoko sat. His voice had a hint of hope and it was the first time Naoko had seen him like this.
"Liking her already~ I see~" the fox spirit teased the boy, which he responded with a click of the tongue. He hated being teased, and what's wrong with asking anyways?
"Let's hope she will, and maybe she won't be too afraid." Naoko nodded, snapping her fingers and in an instant, the tea sets were gone and she turned back into a white cat.
"It's getting late Hajime, let's go home." Naoko walked around Hajime's feet before leading him back to their own home.
