Hey there, guys! This "story" (it's obviously to short to be called a story) has been in my computer for over a year, so I thought why not just post it? The beginning is a little bit open for interpretation, as well as the ending, but I actually kind of like it that way. The Joker and you have already been involved... in various ways jk jk
Should you want a sequel holla at me :)

By now she should know better than anyone else that, although it was absurdly depressing and random, she was no different than the other people in Gotham who were walking desperately around her, while calling their families, close friends and significant others. On the other side of the road she spotted a couple who were hugging their two little children as if it would be their last time enjoying each other's companies. She shook her head while smirking ironically.
It was going to be their last time as a family, indeed.
(Y/n) stared at her small shadow on the ground as her mind proceeded what had just happened before her (e/c) eyes, before she suddenly took in the realization that she'd die in a few hours if no one took a decision about the matter which was occupying every person's mind in Gotham. It couldn't be possibly true, right?
The Joker, as known as Clown Prince of Crime, had declared war on Batman, as per usual. However this time he'd hidden a bomb in practically every street and corner, saying that if the Batman didn't show up at the school in the northern of the island to reveal his identity in three exact hours, he'd waste no time to bomb the heavy populated city. Not only that, but no one was allowed out of Gotham, since Joker's henchmen had taken control of the bridges and were ordered to shoot anyone who'd try to escape.
(Y/n) hated to depend on people, especially on people dressed as her least favorite animal, yet it seemed that she'd have to put all of her hopes in him. But then again - the girl knew the Batman's ways - he wouldn't show his face to no one, which could either be a result of his plan which would save the terrorized people, or it would mean that all of them would die.
"But Batman hasn't made an appearance for over a year! Maybe he's on vacation, maybe he's dead. There's no way he'll show up! We'll die!" After listening to a woman who was crying next to another girl, she frowned at the new information about the vigilante and turned around to glance at the city before her eyes.
The streets were filled with people running around aimlessly, probably searching for a certain someone or a certain something, while others were slowly starting to panic and to show their fearful expressions and scared emotions. Nothing had happened yet, however Gotham was already falling apart - piece by piece.
"(Y/n)? Is that you?" The girl turned around at the familiar voice and noticed a short woman between the crowd that kept running. "Oh, (y/n)! Thank God I'm seeing you!" The blonde's face seemed to be relieved at the sight of her friend, but her eyes still showed pure panic.
"Louis." Was the only word that got out of her mouth. Louis focused shortly on her friend's state before hugging her tightly. It felt great to have someone near who she could trust in. That was the moment when (y/n) felt her shoulder being wet by her friend's tears. "No. Louis, don't cry."
"How?" Louis looked up to see the girl she considered a sister. "Batman's dead, and so are we!" (Y/n) did her best not to show any emotions when she was staring at the Joker's face while he explained the current situation of Gotham to the spectators, yet now that her most precious friend was a sobbing mess whose only thought was death, she was slowly starting to feel her eyes become teary. "G-God, (y/n). I'm so afraid."
