Chapter 7~ Pool Party

I was standing on Blake's porch, thinking 'What the fuck was that?' . I walked back to my car.I went back home and sat on my bed. My phone did a Ding sound, meaning I had a text.

Blake~What the hell is up with you man?

Jeremy~What do you mean? Nothing is wrong.

Blake~You know exactly what's wrong. Does the name Dagger ring a bell?

Jeremy~What does Dagger have anything to do with this?

Blake~Oh my god. She just told me that you kissed her yesterday and today you were with skanky pants.

Jeremy~Skanky pants? Really?

Blake~You're missing the point here, look Dagger isn't like most girls, don't lead her on.

Jeremy~Yeah, sure, whatever. I got to go. You coming to the pool party at Jasmine's house tomorrow?

Blake~Yeah, I'll be there.

I sat on my bed thinking. What exactly did Blake mean when he said Dagger wasn't like most girls? I mean, yeah she's not your typical girly-girl, but she thought that we had something. I do girls, not relationships. She was hot, and didn't really take anyone's shit, so that made her even more hot. But she was quiet and I don't do quiet. But I don't really like her, at least I don't think.

I woke up to my mom coming home. I went to Amy's room and took her to my room. I told her that she would sleep with me and I went to the living room.

"Daniel brought Amy," I say. She sighs and buries her head in her hands.

"I know its hard mom, we can get through this. Amy is sleeping in my room, I can tell her to stay with me the whole time-"

"Rosa dile a Amy que ella puede dormir conmigo." (Rosa tell Amy she can sleep with me.)

"Okay mama, ¿Cómo estuvo el trabajo?" (How was work?)

"Estaba bien, sólo estoy cansado." (It was fine, I'm just tired)

"Bueno, buenas noches." (Well, goodnight.) I kissed her cheek and went to my room.

"Amy, mommy's here, want to go sleep with her?" I asked her.

She nodded her head sleepily and I carried her to my mom's room.

I woke up, happy that it was a Saturday. I went to the living room and found it empty. On the counter was a note. Mom left it, it said:

Buenos días Rosa. Me tomó Amy para un día, así que tienes un día libre. Estaremos de vuelta a las 10:00. (Good morning Rosa. I took Amy for a day out, so you have a free day. We'll be back at 10:00.)

I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat on the couch. My phone buzzed I checked it, Blake had sent me a text.

Blake~ Are you busy today?

Dagger~ No, why?

Blake~ I'm going to a pool party, and I want you to come with me.

Dagger~ Who's house?

Blake~ this girl named Jasmine, she doesn't go to our school.
