After being taught how to go about things in the police station, they were shown their work desk. Which was a medium size room with seven desk evenly spaced and windows along one side of the room? Wednesday took the desk in the very back next to one of the windows. Jay, Kate, and Wade sat in the next row. In the front row, there was Jack, Ying, and Yang.

Once everyone was settled in the two cops came in and gave everyone folders to fixed they had to go through and put it in order. Everyone started on their folders and before they knew it they were done. So everyone put their folders in the output box and started on their homework.

After their homework and more folders they were done and were allowed to leave. It was about seven so they decided to visit the old lady before heading home. The cop cars drove them there and left. Jay ran up to the door like a little child and knocked on the door. Everyone waited until the door cracked open a little. It then closed and the sound of a chain could be heard. After the sound, the door opened wide this time.

Once the door was opened all they way, they saw the old lady with the biggest smile ever. "Hello come in." She said excitedly. Everyone walked in and followed her to a tiny and cute living room. "Come, come sit, sit." She said waving for them to sit down. Everyone found a place to sit. "We never got to interduce ourselves. My name is Ruth." She said with her big smile. Everyone introduce themselves to Ruth.

They began to talk more when Wednesday spoke up. "I don't mean to be rude but how did you know where we went to school. The cops told me you know who we were and where to find us." She said as everyone stopped talking and started to listen. "Well, we are the same. Most of you know what you can do and other don't. Me, well I know what I can do. I can read minds and I'm sorry for reading your mind. Sometimes I don't mean to do it. It is just you, my dear, your mind screams out." Ruth said as she lowered her head and her smile. "It's ok I was just wondering," Wednesday said as she got up to comfort her. "That's so cool. Can I call you granny?" Jay asked as he moved in his seat. "Calm down or you will make me fall over," Jack said to do to the fact that he was sitting next to him on the edge of the seat about to fall. Everyone then began to laugh so did Ruth.

After talking for about an hour and a half everyone started to walk home. They made a stop at the store to grab drinks so they didn't die on the way back home. One by one everyone turned down their streets and waved goodbye. Until there was just Wednesday. She walked down her street and into her house. Once she was inside she locked the door and started tp get ready for bed
