Cas is my boyfriend

Dean's POV

Sonny had the joint in his hands and thought for a moment. Then he brought his hand up to his mouth and inhaled the smoke and exhaled it again.

The boys were speechless.

When Sonny recognized their surprised expressions he said: "Just because I'm old does not mean I can't smoke weed, boys."

"Yeah, sure but... whatever." Dean responded. Castiel was still shocked.

"Just don't tell it Ruth, she wouldn't like to hear it. Deal?"

"Deal." Dean said.

They passed the joint around a few more times and then shut it down.

"Now you guys have to tell me why you are here at this time of the night." Sonny said.

Dean glanced at his boyfriend and then started to talk. "Cas had a nightmare, so I thought he would sleep better with this."

Sonny nodded.

We should tell him now. This is a good moment to tell him.

"Uhmm Sonny... we want to tell you something" Dean grabbed Castiel's hand. "Cas is my boyfriend"

Cas was surprised and looked at Dean, then at Sonny.

"That's nice for you two. Thanks for telling me, just... don't be too loud at night." He chuckled when he said the last part.

Dean and Castiel started to laugh too.

Sonny left their room after that convesation and the boys were on their own again.

"Cas you okay?" Dean asked, still holding his hand.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired." He replied.

"Then let's go to bed. C'mon" He slid through the window back inside the room and walked to his bed.

"Dean? Can you...sleep here next to me?" Castiel asked with a cracked voice.

"Sure babe. Whatever you want" Dean responded and slid under the covers next to his boyfriend.

Castiel snuggled as close as he could and Dean put his arms around him protectivly. Dean was awake for another half an hour and watched as his boyfriend fell asleep. He looked at his closed eyes and heard his breath slow down and felt his heart beating regular.

His face looks so peaceful...

Castiel jerked and flinched a few times in his sleep but Dean thought it wasn't a nightmare. When he finally fell asleep too, he pulled Cas even closer.

Both of them woke up at the same time in the same position as they fell asleep. Dean glanced at his watch. He needed a moment before he could read it because his eyes were still tired. It was 11am.

"Good morning angel. Did you sleep well?" He asked Castiel.

"Morning babe. Yeah, I slept fine, after all I slept in your arms." He replied. Dean smiled and gave him a kiss on his forehead.

"Let's get some breakfast." He said.

The boys quickly got changed and went downstairs to the kitchen. Castiel took a bowl and poured himself some cereals and milk in it. Dean ate toast with peanutbutter.

After breakfast they went back to their room and watched netflix the whole day. They started to watch '13 reasons why' with the aim to finish the whole show in one day.

"Dean, one episode goes nearly an hour and there are 13 of them. We wouldn't be finished until 1 am and tomorrow is school. Are you sure we should watch the whole show?"

"Fuck school, fuck sleep, I don't know but Charlie told me if we start to watch it, we wouldn't be able to stop because it's too exciting. Let's see how far we get." Dean responded.

The boys were laying in Castiel's bed this time and after the third episode, Dean wanted to ask him something.

"Hey babe, I thought about visiting Sammy and Bobby next weekend, maybe after the CSD parade. But I don't want to leave you alone here, so... would you maybe come with me that I have company?" He smiled at his boyfriend.

"Uhh, yeah I think that would be okay. We have to ask Sonny first but I would love to meet yout family." Cas replied.

Dean was very happy about his answer. He gave him a small kiss on his lips, but Cas wanted more. They didn't kiss often but when they do, they do it right.

Castiel grabbed Dean's shirt and pulled him to his lips again and Dean couldn't resist, so he layed one hand on Cas' neck and with the other he stroke through his messy black hair. Nobody of them broke the kiss for a few minutes but then somebody in the show started to scream and Castiel jerked. His eyes went to the screen and Dean laughed silently.

"You're so adorable my little angel." He said and kissed his cheek before his gaze turned to the screen too.

They were a really cute couple. Every time when one of them thought the other wouldn't look, he looked at them and then quickly back to the screen. They shared a few more kisses during the show and at 6 pm, when dinner was ready, they stopped at the seventh episode in the middle.

"I guess Charlie was right when she said it's too exciting to pause it." Cas said.

After dinner they went straight back to Castiel's bed and continued watching. Past midnight and they started the last episode.

"I told you we would finish it in one day" Dean said and Cas gave him a true-story-face. When the show ended, it was 1 am.

"This was... impressive." Cas said.

"Yes, it was. But Cas, you know, before you plan things like this, you better talk to me about how you're feeling, no matter if I'm angry at you or not, right?"

"Yes, Dean. I know that." Castiel responded.

"Good, just checking. But I think we should really get some sleep now." He said.

They slept again arm in arm in Cas' bed and Dean protected his boyfriend from nightmares and it worked.
