English class didn't like
the Teacher,
So I walked out like

It was English class and I actually didn't hate the subject but disliked the Teacher. Miss Felicia was a very strict woman. The topic for the day had been up for a long time and I had lost interest in it already.

This gave me enough time to ponder on what Hannah had told me earlier. Immediately after my conversation with Jackson I bumped into her. She saw the look on my face and noticed I just had an issue with someone.

"Ella, what's the problem this time" she asked
And I replied with a question
"Is it a crime not to like someone?"
"Did he bring up the topic again?"
"Of course not. If I allowed any conversation it would lead to that and Im not in the mood for that. I just want him to give up" I concluded.

"I don't think Jack would ever give up I think he really likes you" Hannah said in a plain tone.

"Buh hez nt even cute, Atleast not to me!"

"Yea! He's not cute to you because you have an eye for someone else. You need to open your eyes and see it. He's smart, cute, kind, gentle..."

She was still talking when I cut her off.
"What's wrong with you" I asked now raising my voice
"What do you mean? Oh! Let me guess he has walked up to you and started telling you trash right, so that you can try and convince me uhn?"

"You know Im madly in love with David and here you are my best friend trying to take my mind off my guy."

"Well it's not your fault, you've never been in support of David and I and Im pretty sure you don't want us to be together and only God knows why" I was ranting on and on and with that I stormed off.

"Hey!" Hannah called but I was not turning back to look at her, I was really annoyed and disappointed.

I looked towards Hannah and then at Jackson in the class seeing them engrossed in what the Teacher was saying and then shook my head.

Just then I heard my name which brought my attention back to the Teacher.

A sentence was written on the board and I was asked to analyze it. Miss Felicia probably had realised that I wasn't paying attention that was why she threw the question at me

All eyes were on me and I started blankly at the board. I itched my head realising I didn't know the answer.

"We're waiting" I heard her say. I summoned courage and told her that I didn't know how to analyze the sentence.

"That's because you weren't paying attention" she said again and then she threw the question at Jack.

Why him? Must it be him I thought to myself feeling embarrassed.

He stood up and answered the question with ease and then there was a broad smile on his face.

I rolled my eyes.

Hey!! Wats up

Hannah was sitting in the library doing nothing in particular when Jack walked up to her.

"I have something to discuss with you am I permitted?" He asked politely

"I know what you want to talk about already but do have a seat" she replied

This was what caused her argument with Ella earlier and she didn't know if it was right listening to him but she liked Jack as a friend and felt he needed a chance to be heard.

"Im really sorry if Im disturbing you but I really want to know why Ella is behaving extremely funny to me"

"Ok! But before I can explain anything I really want to know what exactly you want from my friend"

"I don't know how to put this tho but"

"Put it anyhow" she interrupted

"Ok, the thing is that I really like Ella and I would love to be around her. I don't know, I just have this sudden feeling that she is the one".

"Wait! What do you mean by she is the one?" Hannah asked laughing

"I mean she is the one my heart wants and I would love it if she would just listen to me and give me a little chance. I promise I will never hurt her. I promise. I just need a chance" he had started ranting and I felt for him.

"So what you're saying now is that you want her to be your girlfriend?"

"Yea" he replied

"Sorry but I don't think that would be possible" she said

"But why?" He asked really sad now

"She already has someone" Hannah told him in a sad tone too

"You mean she has a boyfriend?" He asked

"Nope" she said "a crush"

Jack bent his head looking down at his shoes and asked "so there is no hope for me?"

"Dunno" Hannah answered

"Thanks for giving me the chance to talk to you " he said with a sad smile on his face

"It's my pleasure" she replied

"Im not going to give up tho " he said and with that he left.

Hannah heaved a big sigh and rested her head on the desk.
