Felix's POV
The next day i walked to school with Mad, having to hold his hand. When we walked inside we were given slightly weird looks, but Mad scared them off. One of the worst part was when Fenn, Vulx Erin and Andrea noticed. They gave me bad glares as if the devil sprang up from hell.
Especially Fenn, who gave me such a glare if he could shoot lasers out of hate i would be dead. I walked past them just as Virus came up behind them and pushed them down the stairs. All four of them fell down the seven steps with loud bangs.
I tried to stop and help them but Mad kept a hold on me. I noticed instantly they had broken at least one bone. Vulx hugged Fenn as her leg twisted in a different way. Fenns arm looked bad, but he still hugged Vulx kindly. Erin and Amanda had both fractured their spines and laid flat on the ground, starring ahead as their hands were intertwined.
"Are you happy?" Fenn glared at me. Mad smiled.
"Very." he whispered to him, dragging me away. I turned back to my friends as people simply passed them, not wanting to help them in the least. My heart hurt.
But the absolute worst was when Cry saw me. He started walking up to me, then paused. He noticed first Mad was with me, then our hands. Tears sprang in his eyes.
"I see Felix. Fine, i'm sorry i tried." I watched with a heavy heart as he ran away from us.
My heart had split in two just as my friends trust did.
"Ignore them, you don't need them. I'm who you need." Mad said with a smile. I barely nodded. My head felt dizzy, my body numb. The people that trusted me with their situations were hurt more then i wanted.
"This wasn't part of the deal." i said, snapping my hand back.
"Oh it is. I said I wouldn't hurt them. Virus has nothing to do with it." Mad took my hand back. My stomach did a flop. He was right; the deal was still on. Mad smiled and dragged me to class with him. I noticed Cry wasn't in, his desk empty. Ferida wasn't there either, probably got lost because i wasn't there to guide her. Another person i hurt.
