Percy was sweating. He didn't want to do this but knew he had to. He felt the soft white sand on the beach of Long Island sound and looked back at the camp. He looked up at the sky.
Why are you making me do this? Percy thought.
He got up and walked to the Athena cabin. He raised his hand to knock on the door but hesitated. He knocked anyway. Malcolm opened the door as usual.
"Hey Percy! I'll go get Annabeth." He said winking.
Oh gods... He thought.
"Hey Percy... what's up?" Annabeth said cautiously, noticing his tense expression.
"Annabethweneedtobreakup." Percy blurted.
"Woah, slow down Seaweed Brain."
He took a deep breath," Annabeth, we need to take a break..." Percy said looking at his feet.
Annabeth knitted her brows,"Wha- " she caught herself,"I see." She said obviously holding back tears. She slammed the door in my face and He heard the sound of her crying through the door. He felt heartbroken, and he walked glumly towards the beach.
3 Am- Bottom of Long Island Sound
Percy was hating his life. He broke up with Annabeth, Grover was with the Concil of Cloven Elders, Jason; Piper; and Leo were on a quest, and even freakin Nico was in the Underworld! Percy punched the coral.
Same time- Olympus
Poseidon wanted to strangle Athena. She threatened to send Percy back to Tartarus alone if he didn't back off of her daughter. Posieden made sure to tell Percy that. Zeus sat, head in his hands. No other gods where there, mostly out of fear.
Athena was to her boiling point,"Posieden I am warning you. If Percy doesn't stay away from her he will be owl feed!"
"Annabeth should be able to make her own decisions! She loves him he loves her, I don't see the problem."
"Love is a lie." Athena stated viciously.
"Athena, please. I'm begging you. For the sake of our children." Posieden begged. He didn't like to hold grudges.
Athena's eyes softened, "Fine."she muttered, "Only for my daughter though..." They both knew the discussion had ended.
8AM- Cabin 3
Percy woke up in his bed... what? He was sure he fell asleep at the bottom of the ocean. He got out of his bed carefully, but it wasn't a trap. He left his cabin and felt something in the pocket Riptide wasn't in. A piece of paper. On it it said- percy- πάει να πάρει την. (A/N greek for Percy go get her.) Percy bolted out of his bed and sprinted to the Athena cabin. He busted in not even thinking, she was staring at where the noise came from- she scowled.
"What do you want." She growled. He scooped her up in his arms and kissed her passionately. He ran out of the cabin to his with Annabeth still in his arms. He held her close, whispering, "I'm so sorry, Annabeth."
