Part 2: Harry paced back and forth in his room, prepping himself. The door swung open and Ron stalked in.
"Oh hey Harry." He mumbled quietly.
"Don't 'hey Harry' me. How could you do that?" Harry snapped back.
"Geez mate, I'm sorry, next time I'll say hello?" Ron looked confused.
"Not that you fool! How could you kiss Lavender? Are you insane!"
"What?"
"I've loved her since the day I met her! You knew this! And you still did what you did!" Harry fumed. It felt weird to lie, but he felt like it was convincing.
"Harry...I-" Ron began, his brows furrowed.
"I don't want to hear your excuses! You broke my trust! You already took Hermione from me, and even when you're with her, you take Lavender from me too!"
Ron looked taken aback. He was processing everything in his head.
How did Harry know he kissed Lavender?
Not that he cared about Lavender anymore...if she was going off giving her bras to people like Draco Malfoy, he didn't want anything to do with her. And since when had Harry loved Lavender?
"Wait. Harry...how do you know I kissed Lavender?" Ron asked, cautiously.
"Maybe you should ask Hermione the same thing."
Then it struck him. Then it struck Ron why Hermione had run away. It was all coming to him.
"How long has she known?"
"Long enough. Bastard." Harry said. Ron turned and walked out of the dorm room.--
Part 3: Hermione knew what was coming next. She knew Ron was about to set foot into her dorm room and question her, try to make things right.
No.
She would have to be strong.
As she heard the door creak open she braced herself to see Ron's ginger patch of hair.
Instead, it was Draco.
"Draco...I don't think you should be here...Ron is-" Hermione didn't finish as Draco pressed his finger to her lips.
"Don't worry. Just hear me out."
Hermione's eyes never left Draco's as he explained how he felt. How he felt when he had first kissed her in the Owlery. How he hadn't been able to sleep thinking about her.
The two stood in silence, gazing at each other. Hermione was processing everything into her brain. Did she feel the same way?"Here I was coming to apologise for kissing Lavender, when I find you that you've been kissing people behind my back as well,Hermione." Said Ron, appearing at the doorway.
Hermione gulped.
"That's different, Ron. You did it whilst we were still together. I did it when I found out you and that minx were having an affair. We were pretty much over by then, whether you knew or not."
Draco stood silently by, as Ron turned to him.
"You have a knack for taking things that don't belong to you." Ron spat. Draco laughed at this pathetic remark.
"You have a knack for not taking things for granted." Draco replied.
Ron gritted his teeth, unable to think of a comeback.
"Ron. Let's just get over this. You kissed Lavender. Go and be with her. I don't care anymore." Hermione finished.
"What? Hermione you can't let him off that easily..." Draco said.
"Draco. I don't care. I can't do this anymore. I don't want to make him suffer. It's not right."
"But the plan-"
"Screw the plan! I just want to get on with my life. I have too much to do than sit and mope about Ron."
Ron nodded slowly and backed away.
"Bye." He mumbled, leaving Hermione and Draco alone.
