Abbi was sat on the edge of the bed, she looked up at Jordan and smiled. Even though their age gap was bigger than most, it didn't stop her from loving him any less. He stood in front of her, wearing dark blue jeans, with a white shirt, he looked completely handsome and then he put a waistcoat on and she nearly died, all of a sudden she didn't want to go out with their friends, she wanted to lock him up in her room and have him all her to herself.
"Babe? Are you gonna get dressed any time soon?" Jordan laughed as Abbi came back to reality, the bedroom door was open slightly, and she was sat in her dressing gown, nothing wrong with that, but if any of the guys walked in they'd sure be getting an eyeful. She ran a hand through her recently curled hair and stood up, she looked at what Jordan was wearing once more before going to the cupboard, she settled on a black figure hugging dress, she paired it with some silver platform heels and matching accessories, after Jordan decided to throw his phone and wallet into her bag, they exited the room and went to wait for everyone else downstairs.
"Come on guys, table is booked for 8:30 and it's nearly 8 now." Jordan shouted as Abbi opened a bottle of wine and poured two glasses, it was all of a sudden becoming very real now, none of the guys had seen her this quiet before, she was normally the life and soul of the party, but as she sat their sipping her wine, she realised. She was going to be here in England for the next year while the guys had the year off, Her and Jordan would be staying here to plan their wedding before saying goodbye to everyone and then that was it, Abbi would be officially moving to America. She would be starting Married life in California, she'd be looking for a new job, luckily they had just bought a house together and it didn't need any work doing to it, most of their things were now in the house, except certain things they had in England.
Abbi and Jordan had made a deal when they first got engaged, seeing as Abbi was leaving all her friends and family behind, they would get married in England, before Abbi would say goodbye and go live in another country, where all she would know is her husbands family, she had no friends, except the guys, but she wouldn't be seeing them too much as they lived all over the place.
Jordan sat down next to Abbi and squeezed her hand gently, he knew things were going to be hard for her, which is why he offered for both of them to live in England for the year while they planned the wedding, he just hadn't told her that his parents would be coming within the next few weeks to stay for... well he didn't know how long for and he knew Abbi wouldn't object, he knew she loved his mom and his mom adored her, considering when he was growing up no girl was good enough for her Jordan, but as soon as her and Abbi met they hit it off and she'd classed her as a daughter ever since.
Plus, Jordan's mom had a surprise for her, and he was sworn to not tell Abbi before his mom came over, so that's what he was trying to do, yet it was hard to keep secrets from her.
One by one the guys all piled into the kitchen, getting themselves beers or whatever else from the fridge. Abbi sat quietly sipping on her wine.
"So, how many of us are going to be there tonight?" Donnie sat down, sipping on his beer as he waited for an answer to his question. Abbi shrugged.
"I'm not sure, maybe about 20 of us? I would not be able to name all my friends right now, even if I tried." She laughed softly as she drained the last of her wine and poured herself another one.
"I'm not even that hungry, I'll just carry on drinking." Abbi smirked as she took a sip, whereas Jordan shook his head.
"I don't think so, you've not eaten anything substantial all day. I don't want you hammered by the time we sit down, especially as we're supposed to be telling all your friends that you're moving to America for good."
