The hooded duo took him to a little ranch in the middle of nowhere. The peaceful plains surround them. The wooden home is two stories high, and looks very comfy. The hooded two open the front door and announce, "We're home!" In feminine voices. A boy in a green hood pops his head up from the linen green couch. "Who's that?" He questions.
"A baby boy we found in the Dead End Woods." says the one with the purple backpack.
"Ooo! Can he be my little brother?"
"Maybe Shinzy, we don't know if his parents accidentally or on purposely left him."
"Aww.. Okay.."
The purple one pets the little green hooded kid. "It's okay Shinzen, what do you want to name him? just in case."
"Umm, hmm.. I have no idea."
"Well, think of one soon. I'll also ask Opal if she has a name."
The one with a red backpack mumbles something and Shinzen's ears perk up. "What's that Mom?"
"Takenshi.." she quietly repeats.
"Takenshi?" The purple one responds.
"Yeah, but we can change it if you guys don't like it." She says in depression.
"I like it babe."
"I like it too Mama Li."
And thus, Takenshi, was born... (Even though he technically already was)
*9 Years and 364 days into the future*
"Mom!!" a little boy in a blue hoodie screams while running down a some light wooden stairs.
"Yes Taky?" a woman wearing a purple shirt replies.
"Where's Onii~san?"
"He's outside helping Opal."
"Oh okay!"
Ten year old Takenshi sprints out the door to find Shinzen and Opal. He finds them playing by a sparkling river, throwing flat rocks to skip to the other side of the liquid filled path. "Can I join you guys?" Takenshi questioned to Opal.
"Sure Taky!" She replied while giving a flat rock to him.
"Tak, make sure to hold the rock like this." Shinzen spoke while holding a flat pebble in a certain position.
"Um, okay!" He says before tossing the leveled stone, skipping it zero times across the rolling waves. Takenshi looks at Shinzen expecting him to be very disappointed, but the total opposite appeared. Shinzen smiled his white as paper teeth at the kid.
Opal tries to contain her giggles. Takenshi looks over at Opal and his eyes flicker red. She taunts him, "What are you going to do Tak?" Takenshi pulls his arm up and holds his palm. A burning flame appears centimeters above his hand. Opal backs up, but smirks a little. "Oo a little flame. What is it going to do? Make a hole in my clothes?" The flame in Takenshi's hand grows and increases in temperature, until Shinzen puts a hand on Takenshi's little shoulder. The flame instantly disappeared, and Takenshi jumped from the surprise. Takenshi turned his head to look at his older brother shaking his head slowly. "Okay.." replies Tak in sadness from his knowledge that his brother was disappointed. "C'mon, let's go back inside." Shinzen quietly says, "I'll play Wobloc with you, Taky." Takenshi jumps up from excitement and rushes back inside. He speeds upstairs, but stops from a red hooded woman calling his name.
"Takenshi!"
"Yes Mama Li?"
"Where you going?"
"Going upstairs to play with Onii~san!"
"Taky, you know you have to eat first."
"But Ma-"
"No buts Takenshi, eat first."
"Yes mom.."
"Don't worry Taky, after you eat you can play." The purple shirted woman interjects. Takenshi gasps with happiness, before shoving spoonfuls of ramen into his mouth. His speed eating caused him to start choking on the ramen. The purple one runs over to the child patting his back until he stops coughing. "Thanks Mama Kat!" Takenshi coughs.
"No prob Taky." She says with a smile, while messing up his faded silver blue hair.
"Moooooom.." He says in distress from the flattened hair.
"Aww, you're adorable when you whine." Kat teases while pinching his cheeks.
"Whatever Mama." Takenshi ignorantly adds, before running up the stairs and dashing into a room of blue and black. He jumps onto a little bed with yin and yang sheets. His head looking up at the blank ceiling, and his feet kicking in the air. His room is full of swords and symbols. Light stabs into the room from a circular window. The child wonders about life. It seems like he is into a different world. In his head, everything around him changes. The pastel blue walls, warp into void and darkness, but tiny lights appear in the darkness. He is now surrounded by the endlessness of space. Tak's "space" and the real world are connected in some way and some how. It was his little wormhole. His escape route. His happy place. But of course, nothing is peaceful forever. His space is slowly being flooded with fire and a million degrees magma. He looks around but snaps to real life after being hit on the shoulder. His "sister," Opal, shook him from the horror. "Tak, were you in there again.?"
"Umm.. no, Nee~chan.."
"Taky, you can't lie to your sister. Did you.?"
"... Yes, I did.."
"Tak, that's going to give you nightmares again. At least this time you weren't burning your stuff." She says bluntly gazing over at a burnt poster of a blue dragon.
"Yeah yeah.. I know.. Don't go back.."
"Please don't.. You were floating this time. Remember the last time you started floating? You turned into a ball of fire"
"I know Nee~chan.. I'll try not to go back."
"Good." The two sit awkwardly next to each other not knowing what to do afterwards. Finally, Opal spoke again, "Also sorry for teasing you earlier."
"It's fine Nee~chan, I get a little hotheaded." He smugly smiles at her after narrating the line. Opal rolls her glassy light blue eyes at him, knowing the terrible pun he has created.
"Whatever lil' bro. I'm pretty sure Shinzen is calling you to play with him, so you might want to do that."
"Oh! Right! Thanks Nee~san!" Takenshi gives her a hug before dashing out the door to his older brother's room. "Hey, been waiting for you lil' dude." Says the green hooded teen, sitting on the couch.
"Don't worry Onii~san! I'd never forget you!"
