Living With My Stepbrothers (On Going)

Chapter One

MY NEW HORRIBLE LIFE

"Ellie wake up honey or you're gonna be late and make me late again." I heard dad's voice calling me.

"I'm up I'm up." Ugh i hate mornings. I did my morning routine in just 15 minutes which usually takes me 35 minutes to do exact. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs wore my favourite sneakers. "Ready." I said standing in front of him.

Dad handed me a plate with breakfast on it. I grabbed one toast from the plate and went barging outside "daddy we're gonna be late c'mon lets go!!!!" I said running towards the car.

I saw my dad rush in his work clothes. His suit hanging on one hand, his tie loosened, bread slice in his mouth and he was trying to close the door.

I love my dad. He does so much for me and after what mom did he's always taken care of me. When i was two my mom was gone for 6 months when she returned she brought a male who looked younger than her and told dad that she found someone who'll love her.

Dad said that he loved her but she was blinded by his wealth. They started arguing but i was too little to understand. I asked dad what was happening he said "mommy doesn't love us and wants to spend the rest of her life with someone else" i looked at my mom and she was holding that mans hand. I started weeping and dad told me to go to my room.

After that night neither my dad nor I have seen her.

I never want to see him hurt again. Now that he has found someone in his life who'll keep him happy forever. Jess Elizabeth Charles. She and dad work together and have been dating for a year now. I hope he'll always stay this way.

Dad sat in the car and drove me to school.
"Bye honey see you tonight. There's something I have to tell you." I kissed his forehead "See ya daddy."

I rushed to class before the bell rang. I saw the jewel of my life standing near his locker. Alex Charles, sound familiar ? Yeah he is my dad's girlfriends son. We've been friends for 5 months and we've already gotten so close.  I jumped and hit his shoulder "Miss me?" I said leaning on the locker. "Well i did." He said kissing my cheek. "Now Let's go before we're late."

Classes were over in a blink of an eye. It was time to go home Grace and Hailey joined us. They both are my best friends since childhood.

Alex first dropped Hailey then Grace.
We pulled over to my house, "so what's the plan for tomorrow?" Alex asked as we got out of the car.

"Well I told my dad to make it a quiet party but he won't listen. So I might have a huge party. You're coming right?" I said looking at him.

"Obviously how could I miss my- I mean your birthday." He said smiling at me. "Good because if you missed it I'd rip you apart piece by piece." I said giving him death glare.

He chuckled and hugged me before going.

"See ya later." "See ya" i said waving.

I ran upstairs and freshened up. I sat on the couch binge watching supernatural. After 11th episode dad came home with 3 huge boxes and Jess behind him holding few bags.

"Hey dad! What are those for?" I said with my eyes wide open!

He smiled and said "you'll soon figure it out kiddo."

"Hey Jess" i hugged her.

"So what did you want to talk about dad."

"Come honey sit first." We three sat at the dinner table. It was awkward. I think something bad happened. Did i do something? Did they find my diary? Omg!!!!!!!!! I think they did. Oh No.

I was about to have a heart attack, i had to break the silence.. "So..... did i do something wrong? Am i in trouble?" They both giggled. Eh why the hell are they laughing.

They found my diary!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"No honey. But we have something important to tell you and show you." Jess said tapping her hand on my hand.

"Thank god! You didn't find my diary " they both looked weirdly at me. Shit i said that out loud didn't I?

Wait..... what!!!! This can't be!!!

"Are you serious?? That means! Omg!!!! Really??" I started crying. Weeping. Laughing. At the same time.

"Yes!!" Both said at the same time.

"Omg you're gonna get MARRIED.!!!!!!!!!! JESUS CHRIST! I'm so happy!! " I got of my seat and hugged both of them i didn't even realise that i was hugging them tight so tight that they were gasping for air.

"Wait does that means dad, me, you and Alex are gonna live together, four of us?? That means I'll have a new stepbrother and a new mom??" I asked Jess.

Dad awkwardly said "Um....Er...actually more like  eight of us." I gave a confused look.

"What David meant to say was that i dont have only one son. I have Five." She said rubbing back of her head.

"My sweet, beautiful, new mom said what now??" I said raising one eyebrow.

"She's telling the truth." Dad said giving me a awkward smile.

Five? Wait... what? Freaking FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

"When were you both planning to tell me about my Five new brothers?" I said shaking my head in embarrassment.

"Honey we wanted to tell you sooner but-" i cut him off
"It doesn't matter they'll be my new brothers . You guys love each other and Dad, Jess is your happiness that is all i want." I smiled.

"Thank you honey." Dad hugged me.

I kissed both of them on the cheek and went to my room.

Well this should be fun. Living with my new little stepbrothers and a new mom. A big happy family.
