Wings of fire: Dark moon

chapter 4

Moon's stomach seemed to get larger, she wouldn't leave her hole. And she was starving, and DarkStalker spent hours everyday looking for her.

Day 5

Moon POV
I awoke sleeping next to someone, I jerked my head around and saw DarkStalker sleeping next to me. He had a bunch of long moss covered on me and him.

Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I jolted up and clutched my stomach, DarkStalker jolted awake too. I started breathing fast and hard as the egg came out, suddenly blood poured out. And I felt the egg turn, I screamed " DARKSTALKER STOP!!" but despite DarkStalker crying he used his magic to turn it upright . " There's something wrong moon... Let me h-help you." He said shakily. Moon pushed out her egg, and she panted. She began to cry, and she buried her face in the moss. Suddenly DarkStalker tapped her with his tail, he held the egg between her and him, and he suddenly moved it infront of us. I stared at it, it was completely black. But had a white dot on it from DarkStalker's father being an icewing.

She smiled as she fell asleep despite the tears.

DarkStalker POV
Moon was sleeping the whole day, I watched the egg intently. Today was the brightest night, and I placed the egg outside on the cliff. Moon scolded me about how it could fall off, but it was honestly safe. The cliff was slanted so if me and moon lay on it, the egg would be facing up at the moon.

The egg turned silver, and me and moon watched as the wings began to break the egg shell. The Dragonet popped its head out from Moon's talons, and it was beautiful. One of her eyes was orange like his and the other was aqua. She had tear drop scales and they were a dark sea green black. Her spine and claws were pitch black. She had an IceWing tail originating from me.
Moon gasped and started crying, she picked up the sleeping Dragonet. I gasped at her small talons and claws. " Small claw... Can I name her that?" I said and moon nodded.
I fell asleep curled around her and the dragonet.
