"Sir," the man muttered as he approached JK's door. The man inside took in a deep breath and looked up, "Come in." He replied. "Tell me you have good news."
"Well sir..." the man looked down at the ground flinching under JK's intense glare. "He disappeared again." JK slammed his hand against the desk and pushed his chair back.
"If you want to keep tabs on someone you have to do it yourself!" JK shouted as he stood up. "Give me your gun." He said holding his hand out. The man instinctively held on to his own waist.
JK smirked and his voice became dangerously low. "I said give me your gun." The man had heard rumors that when JK took another man's gun it was to kill that man. The irony being they were killed with their own gun which was meant to protect them.
The man handed it over obediently his hands shook as he brought them back to his sides. "Now get the hell out of my office. Don't ever come back and don't even dare say anything about the syndicate. You forget you ever worked here. M will escort you out." JK said leaving the man to thank his stars he hadn't died in that moment.
JK walked purposely down a flight of stairs. His meeting was soon and he had no good news to share with his people. Every time- every time he felt like his abductor was in his reach it turned out to be a mirage.
For 5 years JK had been searching for the man who tore apart his life for one stupid business deal. His only desire was to seek revenge on this man.
JK pushed the doors open and was met with a group of 5 people sitting around the mahogany table. "Bogsu (revenge) what is the news." One of the men JK had come to despised asked.
"He is no longer in our sights." JK said as he sat down at the head of the table. One of the women slammed her hands on the table in front of her. "How?! This was the best information we had!" She shouted.
"I knew you were to immature to lead this syndicate. I propose that someone of my nature-" the same infuriating man spoke up. It was the same every meeting, he would puff himself up in order to gain JK's leadership position.
JK rose from his chair and pointed the gun at the man who held up his hands in fear. "Your nature? Your nature is one all humans should abhor. Let us not forget that you are the man that abducted me years ago under his instruction."
"The only reason you are still here and breathing is because I can use you. You have information that can help us and the man on the inside trusts you and you alone." JK put the gun on the table. "And for that reason and that reason alone, you are not in a jail cell rotting away."
"Now if everyone is done throwing problems around in the air," JK sat down calmly, "let us come up with a solution." Everyone at the table took a shaky breath as they watched JK wearily.
The man, Samuel, who JK had just pointed a gun at gulped as JK turned to him once again. "What new information has your man given you?"
