She was sitting down in a coffee shop
Far in the corner under a magnificent painting, her fone was laying on the table and her jet black hair let down
she was wearing a t- shirt with blue denim jeans and matching snickers. her hazel eyes weary and lips dry,
Head in her hands she started to drift in her thoughts
so much had been happening lately, so much had happened
Trying to find a cheerful memory was never so hard.
She worked in a small bookshop in the very heart of the city...it was never really quite busy but yet she enjoyed it there
It was peaceful and lonely where no one could stare at her or judge her for how she was. Her apartment was right around the corner so she could never be late, it was filled with posters and consisted only of a small bed and a drawer, the rest were just books and fast food boxes
She had been living alone since her parents passed away last year, the depression and struggle stopped her in her tracks of graduating high school. Or getting a scholarship
She decided then to move to the city, atleast watching other people would keep her from thinking too hard, but today was different, today she needed someone in her life, to love her and hold her hand, to tell her its going to be ok but reality sunk in again and she knew there would be no one
she finally withdrew from the clouds of unhappiness and took a sip of her coffee, it was friday afternoon and she began to notice people, coming in and out rushing about in their busy lives..some holding hands while others deep in their phones.
