"Her eyes, master. Their like swirling black pools of darkness, you've heard the rumours of course?"

"Of course."

The man's eyes widened.

"Boy, I'm not stupid."

The man splutters out, but before he could say anything the other man was speaking again.

"Leave and send in Nathaniel."

The man sat in his chair, hands clasped together staring out into the night sky. Waiting the arrival of his second in command, who also took up the role of his best friend.

"You know what this means don't you."

Nathaniel was standing lent up against the door frame staring at his friend, his leader.

"Of course I do," he all but growled at Nathaniel.

Walking in, Nathaniel took a seat on the desk next to him. "Then you know what we have to do."

"If-"

"Nathaniel I know. We need to kill her."

Nathaniel's eyes widened in surprise, "sir, the girl is a baby. I would support you through everything, but it stops at killing an innocent child!"

The mans eyes narrowed on him, as his fists clenched in anger.

"Sir. Why don't you consider just simply kidnapping the child and raising it here. Your sister can't have children, this would be the perfect opportunity for her."

The man seemed to think for a minute, before slowly nodding. "That could work. We attack at sunrise."

"Of course Xavier, the girl will be ours."
