I wrote song lyrics

Ehhh. Music is a type of art, isn't it?

Okay, so I wrote lyrics to a Zelda song, being too lazy to pick my own topic or make a tune. It's.... a start, I guess.

I wrote this in 45 minutes, most of the time looking for words that rhymed.

If you want to play the game without being spoiled, don't read any further. This is your first, and last warning.

The first half of the song was supposed to be written by the Rito when Revali was chosen to become the Rito Champion, as well as the pilot of Medoh.

(6 slbs) Soldier we hold with pride,
(7 slbs) fight off the evil we know.
(8 slbs) Let bravery be amplified.
(6 slbs) See what the sky can hold.

(4 slbs) Where children sing.
(4 slbs) Flapping of wings.
(6 slbs) With tugging of bowstrings.

End of first half

The second half represents how a suprised Revali is met with the truth. The truth that; maybe Link is the better warrior. It contains a direct quote because I'm fucking lazy and wanted a bird pun that subtly shows it's Revali speaking.

It's shit, but it's the first song I wrote besides.... *shudders*... that fifth grade monstrosity. I'll never forget those cringy lyrics for as long as I live. I'm glad none of you have been put through my fifth grader self singing that.
