It was nearly midnight when Seongcheol answered Jihoon's call.

It was when the smaller male cried out words no one could understand but managed to tell Seongcheol to come to the hospital as quick as he could.

It was around 1am when he arrives at the lokal hospital and stares back at the tears strained faces of Jeonghan's parents, Joshua, Mingyu, Wonwoo and Jihoon.

It was nearly 2am when the doctor tells them he's sorry.

It's 3am when he gets home and is greeted by his parents that woke up from him running out of the house as fast as he could.

It was 3:25am when he finally broke down crying and tried to tell his parents what happened in between sobs.

It was a Tuesday when the teachers in school announced Jeonghan's death and made Jihoon break out in tears once again.

It was Wednesday when he saw Vernon and Minghao, both with guilty faces, in the hallways.

It was ten years later on Jeonghan's death day when Seongcheol wipes away his tears while he tells his kids the story about his old friend.

It was when he reached the end of the story when his husband walked into the living room with a picture of Jeonghan.

It was when their kids said that Jeonghan was beautiful when Jihoon broke out in tears how he always does at the thought of his old friend.

It was sure that none of them would ever forget him.

Seongcheol would never.

He would never forget his first love.
Even though he had found a new one and that he had a family now.

Jeonghan stays in his heart.
