paranoia

You and lui were playing kick ball with the kids and you couldn't help but feel like someone was watching you, like not watching the game but creepily watching you in particular but you decided to keep an eye out the rest of the day but keep playing the game.  An hour The game had ended and you and lui were about to go back to your place(not like that and not for that) but during the walk weird thing began to happen like random snapping in trees, footsteps being heard but not owned by anyone and shadowy figures just bearly seen behind trees *step* *step* *step* "lui, you really don't hear those footsteps?" You say looking behind you "no, afraid not. Its probably just birds, here lets just sit over here by this conveniently set up picnic next to this gorgeous river and clear view of the sunset, shall we?" He says with some comedic affect.

After one final look behind you, you nod and head over to lui. The sandwiches lui made were great even though it was just lettus, cheese and tomatos and his homemade apple juice was equally nice but you heard something again "oh my lord, i heard it again, i dont know why im so paranoid today..." you say frantically looking at the tree behind you "ok i show you no ones here," he says standing up and spreading his arms out "HELLO? HEEELLOO...see? no ones even-" he sat on the ground stunned from the fist sized rock that'd just been thrown at his forhead "OH MY GOD, ARE YOU OK!?" You yell very concerned "yes im fine why?" Rodney says as he walks about from behind the trees you suspected earlier

"Rodney? Did you throw that rock!?" You say angered "well i mean i wouldn't call it throwing more as tossin-" he was also knocked to the ground by lui's mighty punch to the face "WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" Lui yells putting a hand to his forehead in an attempt to halt the bleeding "I'll handle this baby," rodney says putting his lips to your cheek while also smearing blood from a tooth he lost all over it "rodney did that punch make you delusional? we've been over since like 9th grade!" You scream but to no avail because the men continued to brawl until an arm had been bitten, 2 teeth were lost and a broken nose was achieved and you noticed this and tried to stop the fight.

"guys..!..guys!...GUYS!" you struggle to get their attention to them striving to rip eachothers eyes out "yes (y/n)?" One had said "y-yeah?" Said the other "will you please stop? What is this even about?" You asks still trying to keep them separate from eachother "rodney i think your the one that needs to answer her question!" Lui yells  as he wipes the blood from his nose "heh well, you probably don't know this but me and (y/n) were together in highschool and i don't like the fact that you show up from god knows where and try to steal her from me!" Rodney says as he tries to get to lui again "rodney..its over and thats final, i thought i made that clear years ago. So stop, there are many fish in the sea but im no longer one of them.." you notice rodneys facevturn beet red from anger and embarrassment and push you to the ground before storming off.

"I don't think thats the last time we'll be seeing him..." lui says using his hat/beanie/thing to wipe more blood off him "well yeah he lives here but don't worry he's always been like that..when ever he didn't get what he wanted he'd have a fit and when we were together when i didn't give him what he wanted he said he'd leave me but i really didn't care, so he'd immediately start apologizing," you tell him "in other words....he's a sorry son of a bitch" you say as you help lui gather the picnic items

          "I love you............"

"What'd you say?"

           "I didn't say anything..."
