My nerd! Hidge

3RD PERSON POV

Hunk was in the kitchen trying to make the food goo not taste so bad. Pidge is working on the lions and the others are just lounging around the castle either talking of sleeping.

Pidge's POV

I decided to try to upgrade the lions and so far I only have mine done. I'm working Hunks right now but I'm having trouble reaching the tools I need to. I hate being so short, I thought, why do Alteans have to be so tall. Just as I was about to try to reach the top shelf again but my stomach started to growl.

I start walking to the kitchen to grab a snack, but then I heard the clinking of pots and pans. I wander whose in there, I thought, is Hunk trying a new recipe out. I decided to walk in blindly hoping I don't trip over a pot or something, like I did the last time. Hunk was trying to reach the very top shelf and I giggled. He must have heard me because he turned and blushed a dark red.

Hunk's POV

I was trying to reach the top shelf in the kitchen but it seems I'm a bit too short. I now know how Pidge feels, I thought. I knew that once I started thinking about her my face would start burning but I didn't care. I heard a giggle and knew that it belonged to Pidge. My face started to feel warmer by the tick. I really liked Pidge but she doesn't know it yet and I'm planning to tell her soon, I'm just afraid that she doesn't share the same feelings for me.

She notices my blush and giggles some more. "H-hey don't laugh at me" I whine, "It's not funny". Once I said that she just burst out laughing.

"Now you know how I feel all time!" She says between outbursts of laughs, "I always need help with reaching thing but I didn't know you would needed help as well" she finished laughing and wiped a tear from her eye. I just look at her and smile and think, What would she do if I just randomly kissed her right now. She looked up and noticed me staring so she cleared her throat to get my attention.

"S-sorry about that", I say as I rub the back my neck, "Is there something you needed". She nods her head and points up to what I was trying to reach, the cake mix. "Ok, just let me get the ladder real quick."

Pidge's POV

"There's no need for that you can just lift me up so I can it for you", I say and then notice he starts blushing again. His blush is too cute, I think. I feel arms snake around my waist and loft me up off of the ground and I yelp on surprise. I look down and see Hunk giggling. I look back up and reach for the cake mix. As soon as I grab the box I drop really fast and squeal. Before my feet hit the ground I'm being hugged from behind.

"I am so so so sorry Pidge I heard someone snickering and I got distracted, im so so so sorry." Hunk kept repeating it so I turned myself around and decided to shut him up. I turn his face towards me and smash my lips onto his. My face is getting redder and redder by the tick. I was about pull away but he pulled me closer if that was even possible and kissed back.

When he kissed me back I felt my heart flutter with excitement. The kiss wasn't rough, it was filled with passion and love. The kiss lasted until we needed air. We pulled apart and gasped for air then I started giggling.

Hunk's POV

I CANT BELIEVE IT, SHE KISSED ME!, I thought. When we pulled away we gasped for air and I heard Pidge giggle. I was just about to ask why she was giggling bug then I heard cheering and whistling and looked up to find all of the paladins in the doorway to the kitchen.

"YES I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN, YOU GUYS ARE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER", Lance screamed. Keith punched his side and glared. "Ow what was that for", he whined.

"H-how long have you guys been standing there", Pidge asked her face in her hands. I pulled her hands away and she looked up at with a red face.

"We have been here since you gave Hunk permission to pick you up" Shiro said with a smirk and a smug voice, "I've actually got to agree with Lance on this, you guys are a really cute couple."

"Well not yet Shiro, neither of them have asked the question yet", Keith said and glanced over at lance. Lance had that look on his face as if he was going to do something stupid. I expected him to do it then and there but I guess he's going to wait.

"He's right", I said as I make Pidge look at me, "Pidge, would you be my girlfriend?" She looked at me and repeatedly said yes and pecked my lips. The others were cheering and clapping until Lance said something.

Lance's POV (yes I went there)

"There is something that I have to do and I might get killed, so I just wanted you all to know that I love being a paladin of Voltron and I love being your friend." I said sincerely, I knew Keith might punch me or try to kill me for what I was going to do but I didn't care. Everyone looked at me confused so I just walked closer to Keith and pulled his collar up and kissed him.

Keith's POV (sorry I had to)

Lance was giving his speech and I got really confused because he said he might get killed for what he was going to do. He started to walk up to me and I thought he was going to try and start a fight with me. The next thing I know he's pulling me up by my collar and kissing me! I tensed up but soon melted into the kiss and put my arms around his neck. Lance was obviously shocked he didn't except me to kiss back but the shock was short lived. We pulled away and I smiled looking at his red face. He opened his mouth to speak and I just put a finger to his lips to prevent it.

"I already know what your going to ask and the answer is yes." I told him and he just smiled and hugged me and kissed the top of my head.

"Wow, two couples in one day, and they are really cute couples too." Shiro said chuckling a bit. We all looked at him and laughed.

"It could have been three but you are too shy around Allura." I stated and his face went the darkest shade of red it could go.
