"Get up, lazy Lisa! You look like an ugly hog right now! Ha, what kind of girl dribbles in their sleep?" Your eyes were half open and you squinted them to see a blurry Jackson.

"I'm a man!" You stuck your tongue out at him. You saw people around you getting up.

You hadn't realised before but now you noticed that the majority of them were probably from Busan.

As you walked out of the plane, you breathed in a very large sample of fresh air. The oxygen seemed cleaner than New York's.

"I'm starting to like it already! Jack, get here!" Your mother pulled Jackson by the ear, "Our cab is waiting for us by the railway; first we need to get the rest of our things."

You went into the airport and grabbed the rest of your stuffs then made your way to the cab. You needed to start speaking Korean now.

Your mother opened the cab door, "Annyeonghaseyo, cab driver, Please take us to 64 Gwoncha Street, jebal."

The cab driver nodded, "Ne," and you took your seat. You rested your head on the window to your left and watched the sights.

-

Finally you looked around you and saw a beautiful street with grand houses. The houses had patios and grass patches and marble floors, wow, you were impressed.

At the end of the street there was a smaller home. It still had a patio, but it was smaller. On the patio was two chairs with a pillow each on them that read 'If your dream is not in your heart, it is not a dream, but a thought'.

To your surprise the cab stopped at the last house. You climbed out of the car slowly and looked around you. You could hear some background noise:

"200₩, jebal,"

"Here... Lisa get a move on!"

Then you heard someone shout out, "Yah! Pabo, what's a gorgeous foreigner like you doing here?"

You stiffened and turned around. Across the road the was a guy who was smirking. He waved at you while you stared at him, "Don't call me gorgeous!" you felt your cheeks going pink.

Lucky your mum didn't hear him, "And what do you mean by 'pabo'? Are you talking to the person on the other side of the mirror?" No one knew, but you had some pretty good comebacks up your sleeves.

His smirk sank into a frown, "Aigoo... learn how to speak Korean properly then I might tell you."

That's it. This stranger had just stepped over the line. You didn't have anything else to say to him. You were trying your best to speak this new language, and he wasn't making it easy for you.

That night you lay down in bed and wondered about things. Did he actually think you were gorgeous? Well, none of it really mattered because tomorrow was your first day at your new college.

You had butterflies in your stomach. What if other people insulted your ways? Then what?
