The new guild mark

After the fiasco with the ex-wildcat mages the Pegasus guild settled down and master Bob returned with the guild stamp. Rosalie was nervous about receiving the mark and had no idea where she should have had it placed. She had looked around to see where others had theirs but the only ones she saw were on the left Bicep of the mages. She couldn't help but wonder if it was a guild tradition.

"Well dearly were would you like your guild stamp?" Bob asked reassuringly as he watched Rosalie's observations of the other guild members. Startled by the sound she panicked and  held out her wrist.

When master bob went to stamp it he saw that it was severely scarred. Upon closer inspection he found that it looked like a leaping tiger. When she realised what she had done she quickly moved her arm back and hid it behind her back, holding out the opposite arm instead.

"On my wrist please" she stammered. She knew there were questions that the guild master would want to ask but it was still a open wound that stung and bled. She didn't want to think about it then. Master Bob nodded in understanding before placing the guild stamp on the joint between the hand and arm. When he removed it he found that the mark had gone a pleasant cheery white, like the light her magic manipulated.

With a grin she thanked the guild master and ran off with her tail wagging gleefully behind her. She stopped to speak with Kiori before starting her search for Eve and Hibiki. She was disappointed when she couldn't find the snow Mage, so she waited for him to come back. She waited until lunch, where she helped master bob at the bar, and waited until dinner, where she kept the little ones entertained. And soon the sun fell from its place in the sky and was replaced by the dazzling night moon.

And still she waited. Like most days she stayed at the guild, she had no where else to go so she would open the guild most days and would often close it at midnight. And midnight came and went without any sign of Eve returning.

Dejected she closed and locked the doors before retreating to the room she had claimed as her own to sleep. She had hoped to show Eve that she was finally a guild Hey member but he had left before she could. She didn't know where he had went because he had been there when Rain had left, but after that he had just disappeared.

With a sigh of disappointment she curled up in her nest of pillows and quilts and closed her eyes.  She tried to remember where she had last seen the snow mage.

'She's a member of this guild, she belongs here...'

the word seems to eco in her mind. How long had it been since someone had stood up for her and proclaimed her right to be somewhere. Accepted her as a member of their guild. With the thoughts and words swirling in her mind she couldn't sleep. She couldn't help but wonder why he had been so adamant and sure of his claims, when no one had stuck by her when her guild, her home, had disbanded.

"Where I belong...I like how that's sounds" and with that thought in mind she drifted to sleep, happy with how her day had gone.
