Hi I'm Samantha and this is this story of how I saved humanity.

I was 12 at the time me and my dad had just moved into our new apartment in the city.We decided to get some lunch after a hard day of work. He was a happy man with a handsome smile yet he always felt like he was missing something. I always thought it mum he missed but he barely remembers her. Every time I bring her up he'd just ask "who?" as if he had no idea who I was talking about. Regardless I would just ignore it like he was playing with me or he didn't want to me to know about her. You see my mother left us when I was 3 so I barely knew my mother. I just remember her voice and her beautiful face.

We proceed down the old alley way towards the cosy and adorable little cafe. We both had a tuna sandwich and a orange juice each. The woman who served us was very kind. She asked if I wanted a biscuit. I of course expected because who doesn't love a good biscuit.

After we had finished we returned to our new apartment and finished moving in it was so cosy. My room was gorgeous. It had a lovely bed with hand painted flowers on it. The quilt was sewn by my grandmother decorated with a wonderful yet mysterious black horse. She told me she got her inspiration from a urban legend. I kept asking her what legend but she always replied with "You'll find out when your older." as if she was telling me my future or something.

The rest of the room was decorated with shelves of books all I have read at least once. I was always a book worm
even at a young age of 4. My dad always said I would one day own the biggest library in the world just so I could read every book in the world.

All of a sudden my dad bursts in with with a panicked look and tears streaming down his face. He then says "Samantha you have to go to the country! You can't stay here!" I then reply with "But father we just got here why all of a sudden do I have to leave" in a shocked voice. Dad then starts to cry as if I had said something that had upset him."Samantha listen World War 2 has began and you must live for the country I will help you pack your things for the train." He says wiping the tears from his eyes. I'm stunned has World War 2 seriously just started! Where will I go? Who will I be with? How will my father survive? Questions flood into my head and I eventually find my self wiping the tears from my eyes.

"Samantha come on we need to pack pleases don't cry I know it's hard but you can survive this, I know you can. You intelligent, strong and resourceful. Please do this for me." He says as he wraps his arms around me in comfort. I then nod and start packing my things.

A few minutes later me and my dad start heading towards the train station. I had pinched my self several times thinking this was all a bad dream. I look at my father in worry and despair as if I wanted him to say this was all a silly joke but he didn't say anything.

We arrive at the train station and I embrace my father like never before. Was this the last time I was going to see him? I board the train hoping to wake up any second now. I wave to my father as the train starts to move. I feel tears falling down my cheeks as he goes out of site. When I can no longer see him I sit in my seat crying and praying that he will be alive be time I get back. I start thinking off horrible things including my father dying in the war. Will I ever see him again?...

I choose this song because it's nice!
