RECAP

"Scott!" Liam shouts as he runs after him.

"You're hurt! Slow down!" I shout when we reach the parking lot.

Scott stops at a car and opens up the trunk to reveal a pair of size 10 shoes with bloody soles.

He shuts the trunk and Mason is staring at us.

"Scott? What are you doing to my car?" He asks.

"It's you." I whisper.

"What are you talking about?"

Before we get the chance to tell him, Corey comes out of nowhere and they disappear.

"Mason!"

"What are we goi-" I stop as the ground rushes towards me.

Mason and Corey were gone. 

"We've gotta find them." Scott says as Kira and I put him on the bed. He wasn't healing, and I feel like that's because of me. 

"We'll find them." Kira says. "For now, you need to rest. Everyone else will look. You focus on healing." 

She kisses him before walking out.

"How are you healed?" He asks me. 

"Liam took away the pain. I'm not healed, I just don't hurt anymore." I say as I pull up my shirt just enough to show all of the marks from the Beast. 

"You should rest too." 

"I'm fine." I say, not letting him see how scared I was. 

I mean, I'm (practically) human with a bunch of gashes all across my abdomen. 

"What were you thinking?" Scott asks. 

"I had to save my brother."

Scott smiles before hugging me.

"My dad has an APB out." Stiles says. 

"For a 5'8 16 year old?" Kira asks. 

"Well I said a nine foot tall raging werewolf, but that wouldn't work." I say. 

"Are we sure it's him?" Liam asks. 

"Liam, the scent was his and you know it. The blood was on his shoes, and he disappears at random times. Everything is pointing towards him." 

"I know, but-" 

I interrupt. "He's your best friend." 

"I'll look in the woods." Malia says. 

"I'll keep watching the APB" Stiles says. 

"And I'll have my mom look in every hospital in the county." Scott says as he walks in. "We'll find him." 

"What happens when we do?" Liam asks. 

"We save him." 

"Where else can we look?" Lydia asks. 

"Let's ask Corey." Scott reaches towards the corner when Corey comes into view, scaring us. 

"They took him, and I couldn't do anything about it." 

"Who?" 

"The Dread Doctors."

"How stupid are we to be doing this?" 

"We're not stupid. We're desperate." Scott says.
