Lies of Omission: Part 2

RECAP

'This is how it ends. In a bathroom.'

They can't find me. They know that I'm next.

Someone walks in and I hide in one of the stalls.

"Chelsea? It's Hayden."

I come out of the stall, staring at her.

"This isn't good." She says as she wets down a paper towel.

"I'm dying."

"We're in this together, ok? My nose started to bleed earlier today too."

I sigh before grabbing the paper towel again.

The first think I do is call my dad. If I'm going to die today, he might as well know. 

It goes to voicemail, meaning that he is working. 

"I could die before he answers." I say as I crouch down next to Hayden. We're at Sinema, getting money for Hayden. We planned on running away, at least until the Dread Doctors are gone. 

She closes the safe and stands. The lights start to turn on, scaring me. 

"They're here." I say, worried. 

I hear their footsteps getting closer. 

"We have to hide." Liam whispers. 

"Where? There's no good place." Hayden says. 

He sits on the ground behind the bar. 

"What are you doing?" I ask him. 

"Just follow my lead." 

It smashes the bottles above us, giving us the perfect moment to crawl behind the closest table and run. We turn the corner but another one is there. It throws Liam and soon Hayden and I are surrounded. 

Liam gets back up, but they throw him again. 

"Run!" He shouts as he gets back up. 

I turn around, but one is right behind me. 

"We kind of can't!" I shout. 

Behind me, someone roars. I turn around and it's Scott. 

He starts to attack one of them, and Hayden and I start to run, but one is blocking the exit. 

I look around and Liam gets thrown. Again. 

'How many times are they going to throw him?' 

It slams Liam into a wall, and grabs him before slamming him onto the ground. There's blood coming out of his mouth. 

I look over and one has Scott pinned onto the ground. 

They're going to kill them. 

I run over to one of them, growling as I jump on top of it. It backs away from Scott and grabs my arms before flipping me over it onto the ground. 

He presses his hand against my head, and I feel the urge to fight Liam and Scott. 

"Not this time" I say as I bite it's hand before getting up. I feel more mercury run out of my nose. 

Theo runs in and pulls Liam off of the ground. "Get them out of here." 

"Chelsea? Hayden?" 

I was coughing up mercury, and I collapsed from the pain.
