The picture is Jason's locket but it has a picture of Crystal in it....obviously.

"Officer did you happen to find a silver locket?" Crystal question the officer that was visiting her in the hospital. Crystal thought she was fine but the doctors wanted to keep her considering how hard she hit her head. "A silver locket? No one at the morgue found anything." The officer replied. Crystal felt the tears well up in her eyes, she quickly pushed them back. "Okay thanks anyways." She said to the officer as he put a reassuring hand on her back. She gave him a weak smile and he turned and walked out of the room.

Chris leaned back into the hospital bed and sighed. The tears came rushing back and she couldn't help but let them out. She pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around her knees and bawled her eyes out.

Tap. Tap. "What was that?" Chris wondered out loud she looked up and didn't see anything or anyone. Tap. Tap. Crystal got up and walked over to the window. She used the sleeve from the white hoodie she was wearing to wipe her tears. The hoodie happened to be Jason's so it was a bit big on her. She pulled the light blue curtain back and gasped. On the window sill there was a big beautiful snowy owl. Chris covered her mouth with the hoodie sleeve. Jason loved snowy owls.... Crystal tried to fight back tears. This owl was stunning with amazing blue eyes. Crystal couldn't help but stare at the owl. She felt drawn to it. The owl blinked at her and tapped the window once. "I wish I could let you in. Jeez you're absolutely stunning." Crystal awed at the owl.

Crystal saw something shiny around the bird's neck. She thought it was just her mind playing tricks on her but as she looked closer she saw a necklace. A silver locket.

Knock! Knock! The door to her room opened and Crystal turned around to see the nurse that was taking care of her walk in. "You're not my first patient to be out of bed looking outside. Why is that? Is it snowing or something?" The nurse asked Crystal. "Umm yeah it's snowing but only a little." Crystal replied. "Okay well I just came to check on you. Do you need anything dear?" The nurse asked Crystal. She shook her head. "Okay I'll check back with you later. You should take it easy you hit your head pretty hard." The nurse said to Crystal and left the room.

As soon as the nurse left Chris quickly turned around to see if the owl was still there only to find that it was gone. I probably just imagined it. I mean an owl wearing a necklace. How ironic. I should just get some rest. With that Chris walked backed to the hospital bed and laid down.

*a couple days later*

Crystal was out of the hospital and finally back home. The female plopped herself down on her bed. What do I do now? Chris thought to herself. She felt so lost and lonely without Jason. Oh Jason.... She fought back the tears. No this isn't you. You're strong. Crystal blinked back the tears and sighed.

Tap. Tap. "Oh no not this again." She said to herself. Maybe if I ignore it it'll go away.

Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. "UGH! FINE!" Crystal walked over to the window and flung open the light blue curtains. The owl sat perched on the window sill. It tilted its head at her. "What do you want?! You followed me home! Why?" Crystal semi yelled at the owl. The owl simply hooted at her and ruffled it's feathers.

"Wait, what? T-that necklace....So I didn't imagine it!" Crystal said. She opened the window. The owl didn't move. She reached out toward the owl. It still didn't move. She touched its head and the owl rubbed its head against her hand. Chris' eyes widen. She couldn't believe the owl was actually letting her pet it. She took the locket in her other hand. Crystal open it and saw a picture of herself. T-this is Jason's.... But h-how.....

The owl hooted and flew into her room. It landed near a picture of Jason on Chris' dresser. The owl hooted again and looked at Crystal with wide eyes.

No...the owl can't be Jason it can't! Can it? No! That's impossible..... She slowly approached the owl. "Jason? If it is really you. Prove it. Show me where my grandma's necklace is." She said firmly. Only Jason knows where it is....If the owl is really Jason it'll know where the necklace is...

The bird walked over to the jewelry box on the dresser. Its talons making a clicking noise every time it stepped. The owl pushed the jewelry box forward with its head. The owl put a talon in the little hole on the back and pulled the small drawer open. It used its beak and picked up the necklace.
