-(Y/N) POV-
The sun was setting so you decided to leave. Marina offered a ride home, but you declined it. Nao wanted to go somewhere so she left you in charge to lock the apartment since you were leaving last. She told you to leave the key under the door mat when you lock it up since she only has one key for now.
You packed your bag and sighed pulling your coat on and packing your bag. The apartment was quiet. Just like your dorm room. But you kind of found that surprising since Nao is a very loud bubbly girl. And yet this apartment was hers, but I was very quiet in the end.
You sighed and left locking up her apartment and leaving the key under the door mat. You turned around only to find a certain someone Turing the corner going towards your direction.
Daichi walked down the hallway with a plastic bag in his hand. It looked like he just came back from soccer practice with a couple of friends since we don't have practice on weekends.
He spotted you and stopped for a split second and the smiled and waved. "Hey (Y/N)!" He said and jogged up. You only nodded towards him. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "I helped Nao move." You said. "Oh that sounds great!" He said and then knocked on the door. "Nao left." You said. "Then why are you here?" He asked.
"Because Nao trusts me and I was still trying to finish up cleaning the box's when she left with Marina." You said. "Oh......" he said and his face looked sadden. He then put the plastic bag on the fire handle and turned towards me. "Well then why don't I walk you home (Y/N)." He said. "Sure" you said and you and him walked down the hall towards the elevator.
While walking to the dorms, you two stayed silence. You didn't know what to say to him, and nether did he. Guessing he was too tired to start an conversation. "Hey.... (Y/N)?" He said.
"Yes?" You said. "Umm.... I forgot to ask you, but where do you live?" He asked. You just remembered not telling him your in the dorms and technically he's just following you like a dog."Umm.... well actually, I Live in the dorms by the school." You said. He only nodded. "I live in the country and when I got accepted to this school......" you stayed silence. "I couldn't pass the opportunity, even, even if it meant leaving my family." You finished. You didn't bother looking at him.
"That must of been an Hard decision." He said. "Not really, I didn't like it there anyways." You said. You wanted to say more, but decided it's for the best not to. Since you have only known him for a short while. "Why's that?" He asked. You wished you didn't have to tell him. So you lied instead.
"My mom was never really home and my dad works away from home so he'd been in a motel or a friend's place. And I'm an only child." You said. But really. That was not true.
The reason why you left other then the acceptation letter was because of your parents. Your mom would always be drunk, and when your dad's working late she would be at the bar and would bring some stranger home. Dad never knew about it. But Dad was also having an affair behind your moms back. And he doesn't know that you know about it. Whenever there home together mom wouldn't drink, but instead your mom and dad would be yelling. And you weren't an only child. Truth is that you have a younger brother. He's about four or five years old.
But you knew mom and dad had kids before him, and before you. Mom was pregnant three times before you, but needed up just giving them away to foster care or just getting an abortion. And then she had about five more after you. Three more abortions, and two she gave away. She tried to hide it from you. But you were to smart for that. She was showing and then dad made up a lie about mom is staying at a friend's when really, she was in the hospital in labor giving birth.
And then came your brother. But then mom and dad just weren't home a lot and you ended up taking care of you little brother. In front of you they act like a couple, but when your not around they separate and go with other people. And then almost three years ago you left the home and came to the high school your attending now. But then every month mom would send a mail with money and asking how are you and that her and dad and your little brother are having fun without you but wish you were there.
And sometimes she does call, but not much. Sometimes you feel forgotten. But you just shake it off like it's nothing. You come back to reality and felt tears on the cheek. You quickly wipe them before Daichi see's them. You look up and see him looking down the side walk and not in your direction. You sighed in relief but Daichi took at as your bored.
"What do you want to talk about?" He asked. "Nothing." You replied. He then looked away from you. You then realized that you were in front of the dorms. "Well goodnight." You say and walk up the steps. "(Y/N) wait!" He yelled. You turn around. "What is it?" You asked. "Ah, well if your free tomorrow, do you want to come over to my place and watch a movie?" He asked.
You felt your face heat up. You've never been inside of a boys house before. And especially never even hung out with one alone. "Uh.... sure, but I have work in the morning, but I get off at two so after we can if you still want to?" You said. "Sounds like a plan!" He said smiling. "Yeah...." you said.
"Well night (Y/N)!" Daichi said and ran off. "Night....." you said quietly. He left before you could say night. You then turned around tureen and walked into the dorm house towards you room.
