~ Murdoch's POV ~

I lied down in bed being carful not to wake Gillies or Julia who were sleeping with me , it has been a week since Gillies' reappearance and I was enjoying it , I wrapped and arm around Julia and Gillies each , Gillies stirred from the right side of my body , I winced that kind of ' whoopsies ' wince as Gillies woke up " sorry. Didn't mean to wake you sweetheart." I said quietly so I didn't wake Julia up , through the dark I saw Gillies smile softly " don't apologize my darling detective. I was trying to stay awake for when you came to bed but that didn't work so well .... " he joked then gave me a peck on the lips , which I returned longer, than he did " That's the tricky thing about love detective, it's an addiction that you can't stop " Gillies said as I pulled away from the kiss, I knew he had a point, love is either good or bad , or both . It is an addiction that is heathy or unhealthy, it's definitely addictive .... especially when you're in love with James Gillies. " how many things can you say about me ? Good and bad , start now !" Gillies asked as he stroked my hair, I thought for a moment then started " you have a beautiful head of curls , beautiful shining eyes , bright mind but dangerous one , psychotic, mentally insane , charming, manipulative, dark brown hair , if your close enough you have freckles..." I had more but I needed to think about what came next . We took turns ranting about the other , by the time we had finished it was already 1 a.m. but we didn't care , we spent a few minutes kissing then joking around with each other, then talking about past crimes that Gillies committed " then when I killed Perry ....... I actually cried as I decapitated him..... he was a great friend, I'll give him that. It was a shame to kill him but it was nessasary . " Gillies said , I kissed his head comfortingly, I went to say something then I stopped, a sudden realization hit me .... I'm in love with James Gillies...... I'm in love with James Gillies ....... " James ? " I asked , using his first name for the very first time, without his last name that is " William ." He replied as he ran his hand through my hair " never thought I'd fall....... fall in love with a criminal...... let alone you . " I said as he nuzzled into my chest , last thing I remembered was Gillies whispering " I knew you'd come around detective. I told Robert you would. " and with that fresh in my head , I fell asleep.
