~ Murdoch's POV ~
I looked at my pocket watch 9:18 it read , I was sitting on the love seat in my living room, Gillies was out currently, although I couldn't help reflecting back on my week, it was only Thursday but everyday felt like Monday to me.
Lunch with Gillies and Julia
Attended a hearing for a criminal we caught a week or two ago
Go get some food for the week
Go to a meeting with Chef Constable Giles and Inspector Brackenreid
Fix the alarm clock
" what a week ...." I say quietly to myself as I turned the page of the Toronto newspaper " beautiful night isn't it Detective?" A voice, THE voice of James Gillies asked from the doorway of the living room " indeed it is Mr.Gillies. " I say mocking his tone of formality " then why do you choose to be stuck up in here ? " he asks me , taking off his blazer and draping it over his arm and kicking off his shoes " i - is that my Blazer?" I ask as I study the blazer , I know that I said my but that's not what I mean. I bought him a new black blazer and well that's the exact one in his hand although I haven't gave him the blazer " if you mean ' my ' by the ' one I found in the dresser drawer this morning in a bag ' then yes " he replied, I chuckled " that was for Christmas." I say but I don't really care , it was for him anyways " early Christmas shopper you are." Gillies observed , I simply nodded " it depends on what and who it's for ." I state he comes and sits beside me " is the open window to cold for you ?" I asked knowing that even the slightest chill can make him cold , he shakes his head " no , not yet." He comments , lying down on me , I can tell he's tired from visiting family although I wouldn't know because I've never met his family so I don't know what they're like " would you mind if I dozed off for a bit, I'm tired out. " he asks , I look at him from over the top of the newspaper " no I don't, " I say as he closes his eyes , within no time he's already fast asleep " what a week " I whisper as I close my eyes and drift off asleep also.
