"And that's my most embarrassing moment." Harry finished his story shyly. I tried my best to hide my laughter but it just kept flowing.

"Stop laughing!" He responded by lightly pushing my shoulder that was next to his.

We were laying down on the sand, looking up at the sky, just talking. Hours had past, but it felt like minutes to me. We got some pizza at a little stand about an hour ago and just came back. It's crazy how you can meet someone, and then hours later you can be talking to them like you've known them you're whole life.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry... it's just... haha... that's bad." I said, still failing at covering up the giggles.

I had my head turned towards his, and his was turned to me. We both shared a common laughter until it just sorta stopped... and we were left contently looking at each other. There was a weird closeness their between us. And I think Harry noticed it because he immediately shot his head back up to facing the sky.

"Uh.. okay my turn. What's you're biggest fear?" He asked me.

Before I could even form an idea of how to word it, a loud roar of thunder was heard around us, sending Harry and I into a fast upward sitting.

Immediately after, rain began to fall down, and it was obvious that it would be pouring soon enough. I should have expected this, seeing though the stars failed to continue shining by the blockade of clouds.

"Come on, let's get out of here!" He playfully shouted to me as he helped me up, and we ran as fast as we could to his car.

I was lightly shivering as I cautiously sat down in the passenger seat. I felt bad since I was all wet and stuff, but Harry told me not to worry about it.

"I should probably take you home..." He said.

"Yeah, probably."

Although I selfishly didn't want this to end. For years I imagined having half the time I had with him today, and I just wanted it to go a little longer.

But that's the thing about good things.

They'll never last long enough.

Harry walked me up to my apartment door. We probably would have looked so ridiculous to anyone who saw us. Completely soaking wet, both of our hair raggedly curly (my hair is naturally pretty curly).

"This was refreshing." He said to me, sporting that same little grin that could make anyone weak at the knees.

"It was. Thank you for taking the chance on me and hanging out with me today." I replied like a complete dork.

"No, thank you. Andddd... do you mind if I get your number? I'm going to be out here for about a month, and I'd love if we hung out again or something." He suggested, quickly giving me excited butterflies.

I then gracefully grabbed his cell in hand, and proceeded to put my number in. His screensaver was of him, his sister, and mom. Really cute photo if you ask me.

"That's my mum and sis, Gemma." He looked over my shoulder to inform me. I pretended like I didn't know who they were and gave the photo another sweet smile.

"Cute family." I said while handing him back his phone.

Then, it was clearly time for goodbyes.
