A strange boy of golden hair stands in front of a mirror, as the darkness waits around him. He studies his reflection carefully, making sure nothing is different, or out of the ordinary. His skin is still pale white, his eyes still glow a creamy orange, and his lips still a light shade of pink that shows of his boredom. Moving downwards he examines his neck, seeing that its still just as thin as he remembers. He scoffs at his less then average height, turning his head just slightly away.
"Why do I even need to check my appearance?" says the boy
He sits down in front of the mirror and waits for the door. When it finally appears, he sprints to it, almost running into the door. He opens his eyes, hearing his alarm clock blaring, as the dim morning light entered his room. Getting out of bed, he walks to the closet to get his school uniform out. It was a dark red shirt with cuffed sleeves, a black tie, and black pants. Not the most stylish school uniform, but much more lax then most high-schools.
The strange boy entered his English class to find out there was a quiz on the book he had started reading. Writing his name on the top right corner; Hitaro Mitashi, he started filling out his answers. After school Hitaro headed straight home, and to his room. Grabbing a can of soda from his fridge, he started brainstorming his dream. After a few hours of intense thinking, he decided to sleep.
"Hitaro!"
Opening his eyes, he was surrounded by darkness, once again in the dream. Searching the blackness he finds the mirror. Walking towards it, he recalls the voice he heard as he first entered sleep. Thinking 'who knows me? who calls for me?'
Then he looks in the mirror, to see, a girl.
