{Kristen's POV}

My heart pounded as his hand ripped the front door open. He turned once more to look at me with his cold eyes. My head drooped down to the floor as hot searing tears streamed down my lifeless face. I could hear his heavy breath as if it was echoing through the hallow walls of my house.

"I never loved you." He coldly exclaimed.

He grabbed his coat off the rusty hook and left, intentionally shutting the door loud enough to make my heart jump. I heard the rumble of his car slowly fade into the distance.

I looked around. The room looked lonely as if no one had ever loved it. It felt the only feeling I have ever felt.

I dragged off the white sheet draped over my sofa and quickly succumbed to the warmth of the couch. My eyes slowly began to close. All I could think of was that one phrase JC had said.

"I never loved you."

Thoughts swirled around in my head like a hurricane. I decided I needed to let myself drift off into a peaceful sleep.

So I did.
